They came out to measure and install a frameless glass shower door. I had a recessed channel installed in the wall to make it look like the glass was coming out of the tile and it required a skillful and precise measure. I also went to their showroom before making final selections to see what they offered and they have a great selection of door styles and handles and hinges. The doors were installed today, they did an excellent job and they are really beautiful. Very responsive company, excellent experience overall.

It took about 4 weeks to get the glass install after the rep came out and measured and order was taken.  The two guys who came out to install were pleasant and professional.  We are beyond happy with the end result.  I would certainly use them again and recommend this company.

We have used this company several times. They came and measured the job, called when they were ready to install, revved the old shower door area and replaced with exactly the type enclosed we wanted. They worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves.

My experience with Del-Ray Glass was positive from the beginning. They followed through on their promises to send a quote within 2 days after giving a free estimate on the glass-repair, they showed up early to the appointment to fix the window, and they worked hard until the job was done (and it was tougher than the average bear). 
Their price was higher than my original budget, but after calling around several places, I discovered they were in line with basically everyone else. 
I would recommend this company to any of my friends. Good job, Kevin and Van!

They did a nice job, and it looks good. Price seemed comparable to other sources, and the installer definitely worked to make sure it was installed carefully and correctly.

One of the pieces of glass was quite large (24"x32"), and we had to transport them on two buses to get them home.  I don't know if we would have gotten them there safely, if it had not been for the man at Del Ray Glass, who found extra styrofoam and cardboard and helped pack the glass into my portfolio case as well as possible so we were able to carry it.  It STILL wasn't easy... but he made it POSSIBLE! :)

When I was researching to have a large glass pane in a condominium window to be replaced I used angie's list to search for window repairs. As not alot of companies just do replacement of a single pane vs an entire window....I was actually referred to Del-Ray Glass by one of the window companies I contacted through Angie's list.
Del-Ray Glass was extremely easy to work with....I contacted them via email and they setup an estimate appointment for me.
The estimator came promptly on the day of the appointment was professional and knowledgeable and was in/out of my place within 10-15 minutes. He informed me that I would receive an estimate within a day or two and that if I wished to move forward the manufacture of the glass was about 10 days.
Two days later I received my estimate and it was very competitive in price and almost exactly what I expected for such a repair. I contacted the office that I wished to move forward and all I had to do was sign the estimate and fax or email it in to them. I then had the choice to mail in a check or call in a Visa/MC for 1/2 the estimated cost. (Sorry....No AMEX here). Once again...the company was very responsive to my email requests and provided answer to any questions I had.
I was informed that manufacture of the glass would take 10 days and that I would receive a call to setup the appointment for repair. I chose to call in and set it up myself to expediate the process about  9 days later.
The repair appointment went smoothly.....they arrived on time and went right to work. The old glass was removed and the new pane was put in place within 30 minutes.
So far the glass is great and the installation looks seamless.....They even repaired a small issue I had which I hadn't even mentioned where the sliding window would not close entirely leaving a small 2mm gap where I could hear wind and air noise. The window is now perfect.
A great company to work with from start to finish.....I will definitely work with them again and highly recommend them for those who live in the city and require replacement of old condominium glass panes.

They were reliable and prompt.  I got other bids and they were competitive.  I chose them because I had used them before.  The price was fair and it was a good price.

I called Del-Ray in late December based on reviews on Angie's list. As it turned out, they were the ideal contractor since they had installed the spray panel that I wanted moved. They came out twice to measure and provided an estimate for moving the spray panel and for the fabrication and installation of a frameless glass shower door and replacement double-glazed window. I was told that the shower door and window would take two weeks to fabricate, after which they would contact me to schedule installation.
After not hearing from them for nearly four weeks, I called them. They said that the door and window were done and we arranged for installation the following day. The installation crew consisted of an experienced mechanic and two younger (less experienced) men. The work took about two hours.
I would judge the shower door installation to be OK, but the handle of the shower door hits the side of the shower enclosure when nearly fully open (something that they had specifically anticipated and expected to be able to avoid by careful placement of the door handle). The caulking around the fixed spray panel was adequate, but somewhat sloppy.
The work done on the replacement of the double-glazed window was only fair. I provided new wood trim (as I was told when the measurements were taken), but the mechanic reinstalled the old trim instead, which was badly cracked in one place, and mangled in other areas. There are gaps that were not caulked properly.

They were very accommodating of my schedule. I would suggest that others thinking about using this company call them instead of email. Once I made contact with them they emailed very well; I got my quote electronically and signed my authorization by email; which was nice. When we needed to make the initial call and needed confirmation as to when the person was going to come look at the job we had to call. I was not home when they did the work.

Bright and cheerful showroom. Helpful and professional service. Ordered the glass and it came in when they said. They were sweet to my child and helped me carry the glass to the car. No issues whatsoever. I thought it was a little pricey, but it was cheaper then the one the place i called. So I suppose glass is just pricey.

I called Del Ray glass because we had broken glass in the stationary panel of our sliding glass door.  When they came to give an estimate, I also had him run estimates on replacing glass in two sliding window panels that had broken seals (some condensation inside).  The estimator was professional and responsive.   It took 4-6 weeks to get the glass in - no quick fix for broken windows here.  The crew came on time as scheduled.  They ended up having some trouble with the sliding glass door, as it was apparently a wood frame rather than metal like they're used to, and the door panel in question was very firmly affixed in place, so they had some trouble removing it to get the new glass in.  They ended up calling in for help and the man who did the estimate showed up to assist.  It was touch and go and I was a bit nervous at points, but they got it done and over a year later everything is still great.  As an aside, the window panels were installed in a jiffy in the original metal frames, and they included the little white "colonial" squares to match the original window style.  Overall, very good experience.
