Daron Keller Piano Tuning

.He was really good.  He was very reasonable. He came out whenever we wanted him to come out. He was recommended by a friend. We had got the piano free and we had a moving company bring it to our house. It is an upright piano. When I called some tuners they said that since the piano is from the 1950s it needed to be tuned several times.  One person even said that it needs to be tuned 6 times in six months.  So I called Daron and he said that there is nothing like that. For one thing he cannot tell unless he sees it and he opens it up.  When he came he was amazed because his father actually sold those pianos in the 1050s.  He also said that I have got the top of the line of this company.  It is overbuilt and it is a really good piano.  Since it was out of tune for so long there may be some issues. He started tuning it up and he was confident that he could get it in tune. But he said that I would have to tune it in six months if one is going to play it all the time.  Six months later I called him again and he came over and he tuned it again. He was pleased with it and said it is good to go.  He is very honest, very personable. It takes a little more than an hour to tune it.  He did not charge me double or anything just because it was not tuned for so long.  He charges just his regular tuning rate. I will continue to use his services in the future.
