Chatree's

Description of Work: Smashed statue, three other broken or chipped figurines. Added expense since one of the faces was smashed and I didn't have a picture for a guide.

Description of Work: They repaired an antique porcelain vase to perfection. They also took the initiative to find a matching vase so we would have a pair. The repair work and service were outstanding.

Description of Work: I received a hand painted Bulgarian casserole at Christmas, purchased from National Geographic and packed incredibly badly. Of course, it arrived split in two. I took it to Chatrees for repair. Initially, I was told that the casserole would not be suitable for serving food after repair. And I was a little startled by the repair cost, but accepted it. I was told that the repair would take awhile, and it did. However, on retrieving it, I was told that it was repaired to the degree that it could be used for food service. So, at least, for the money, I have a casserole that I can use.

Description of Work: They repaired a broken antique vase. Gave me options at several price points, pointing out the differences in outcome. I chose the less expensive repair and was totally happy with them. I have another piece that I'm considering taking to them for repair.

Description of Work: Repaired a porcelain gravy boat and cleaned and polished a very tarnished brass plaque. | |They are also working on repairing an antique Windsor chair for an additional fee.

Description of Work: Repaired the ceramic base of a lamp.

Description of Work: We brought in a large ceramic Halloween pumpkin that we've had for a very long time - over 30 years. It had a large broken hole, form being dropped years ago, that was over three inches in diameter (we brought in the four large shards). It also had a least a dozen large chips in the removable ceramic lid - we did not have any of the pieces that were missing from the lid.

Description of Work: Mr. Chatree Suvanasai did two jobs for me. He repaired an Ottoman design ceramic plate that had been broken into several large pieces. He charged $115.00 for that service, and you have to look closely at the resulting product to tell that it was broken at all. The second job involved installing a hanger on a large, heavy ceramic plate, so that it could be hung on a wall. For that he charged $80, and again the job was expertly done.
