Champion Services

After contacting several trash collection companies that were authorized in Fairfax County, we decided to go with Champion because they were considerably cheaper than other places. The one downfall was that you had to purchase your own trash bin, but they would provide a recycling bin. We have had them for approximately 3 weeks now and I have yet to see them even pick up our trash. Every Thursday morning, I notice a AAA truck (another trash collection company) pick up our trash. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but seems odd. The biggest complaint, however, is that we have contacted them 6 times in the past 3 weeks about the whereabouts of our recycling bins. I have left messages in which they have never returned a single phone call. On the couple times that I have actually talked to one of the managers, they have promised the bins would be dropped off by the next day. At this point, I am considering switching to a different company even at the higher cost (and now I will have a brand new trash can that I purchased). I am also going to refuse to pay them a single penny. I will never use them again and I recommend that anyone else stay clear of this company!
