Work was well done, I called several places and BEST had the most competitive price, but he picks up and delivers as well. The couch looks great now and I would definitely do it again.

The owner was very attentive and was able to exactly match the color and leather quality of my sectional. Work was performed promptly and with much care.

Performed excellent upholstery at the estimated time frame. They called me when the work was completed and delivered my chairs free of charge to my residence. Would highly recommend their services.

Best Upholstery was wonderful to work with. She came to our home to measure and was such a sweet lady. She brought samples of fabrics we could choose from and helped us decide on the thickness of the pads. The work took only about two weeks and she called to see if she could deliver it personally! They do wonderful work. The finished product is so beautiful and functional; just what we had in mind!

We found them on Angie's List. Everything turned out very good. They were as prompt as expected. The workers were very good. The owner took the order down, and then got the people to do the work. The price was very good.

The entire process was very well done in a  very timely manner.  I am quite satisfied and would use this vendor again for other work.

I provided the material and old cushions; they recovered them in just a matter of days.  Well pleased.

We have 8 teak dining room chairs from the 1980s that were in desperate need of reupholstery. 2 with arms, 6 armless. Seats & backs. I saw an advertisement for $30 per item for labor deal, if you bring in your furniture. I called around a few other places, saw the reviews on Angie's list. This was well worth the nearly one hour drive there and a 2nd back in traffic, twice: once to drop off and a second to pick up my order. Not hard to find the store if you pay attention to the address numbers. Don't expect luxurious surroundings; it is in a nondescript little strip mall. Once there, you'll find an extensive selection of fabric rolls in the cluttered showroom. The owners were very nice, attentive, and not in the least bit pushy. The project would have been finished in less than a week had I chosen something in house. There was a strong contender which would have been less expensive than the one I wound up selecting. However, I became obsessed with a sample that was a little more substantial and which had to be ordered. That added a week to the due date, which was fine. The owner, CeCe, was very kind-- suggested if I wanted to save money, I could buy the stain-resister spray myself. I opted to have her company do this so I wouldn't have to deal with the mess, the smell, and the potential of procrastination. As it is, the assembled chairs look wonderful, but I still have 2 left to complete. When you opt to save money by reassembling chairs yourself, you risk not getting around to completing the task. There are the pesky little details you have to fuss over (or not), like staining the little wooden plugs that need to be glued  in over the screws that hold everything in place.

It went very well. They completed the couch on time and made adjustments as requested. The were professional and did a terrific job.

Picked up a used couch from a location where I'd purchased it in order to be reupholstered; provided fade-proof fabric sample books for perusing and from which to select upholstery (previously had used Best to recover a couch and at that time bought fabric from another vendor who now requires ordering online so switched to Best's array of samples so I could see in person the fabric that was to be selected -- still would have preferred more options, thus would give a "B+" to "A-" on quality and overall - which honestly is probably reflective more of our need to have a fade-less fabric for furniture in a sun-drenched room than in the lack of options from Best); We have used Best for other upholstery needs during a 30 year period of time as they are reputable, the upholstering services stand up well over the years, the turn around time between placing the order and receiving the finished product is timely, and they are conveniently located in a tiny strip mall that serves the Old Town Alexandria-Rt. 1-Mt.Vernon-Ft.Belvoir area.

We took the chair to him - even though he'd be willing to pick it up. He was very, very patient as I looked through the different fabric samples. He did the work & delivered the chair. It's the most comfortable chair in the house. It was just a wonderful job! When he delivered it, he took 3 dining room chairs & reupholstered them as well. He took another chair that had a part that had broken off & repaired it for free. These chairs are all absolutely beautiful too! I've got some more things for him to do.

Just wonderful. They did a wonderful job with it. It was an old antique with horse hair in the seat of it. It had to be taken apart and redone, just the bottom seat of it. It fits very well and the upholstery job is perfect. There is a pattern in it and everything is matched up. They did an excellent job. They did delivery and pick up for it. They came up, picked up the piece, finished it and put it back in the house for us. It was important that they could do that physical labor for us.

He arrived on time, confirmed the price and service - did the job as promised. No hassles

They were quick and good, but they were expensive. They came out to give an estimate and tried to make us buy their in-house fabric. All of them were pretty pushy. I felt their fabric was expensive. They were pretty average when it came to price. The language barrier with them was a problem.
