The repair took a while because of various issues but our patience was rewarded - our clock keeps perfect time now. We trust this shop, are very pleased with their diligence and will absolutely use them in the future.

Found Belleview Jewelers on Angie's list and called about my grandfather clock on 6/17/2015. Very polite on the phone call. I was told I needed to talk to Rami. He is the one that works on grandfather clocks. He called Me back a couple hours later and told Me he could be out that same afternoon. Fantastic!!!!!! He was right on time. He took the movement out to check the condition of the movement.  ( the clock is 30 years old ). I have had the clock oiled  about every 3/4 years, but never cleaned. He pointed out where the oil had been building up and where parts were wearing. He suggested that the clock movement be cleaned and oiled; but would do whatever I wanted Him to do.He also suggested a new movement, since the clock was 30 years old, and would be a good investment because the newer movements were much better now. After discussing the alternatives, I decided to get a new movement. He said He could order it that day and it would be in the next day. This was on Thursday. The movement was in Friday. He called Saturday and asked if He could come install the new movement. He was very prompt. He installed the new movement and explained everything He was doing. He adjusted what needed to be and checked the performance of the clock. All was working well. I was very satisfied that I decided to get the new movement.
A friend of mine found out Rami was coming over to install the new movement and brought three antique clocks by hoping He would be able to check them out. Rami was more than happy to check them out and give and give Her an idea of what needed to be done. She was happy with what He told Her and asked if He would be willing to take the clocks back to His shop. He was happy to do so.
Both my friend and I can't say enough about Rami taking the time to explain everything and listening to wants and concerns. He was a pleasure to deal with and anyone needing a clock or watch repair person needs to look no further than Rami at Belleview Jewelers.
p.s. Not to mention its very, very hard to find someone to come to you  house to work on a grandfather clock. I would highly recommed Rami to anyone who would need His type of service

We were able to get a time that was convenient for both of us. The bearings on the clock were worn out so the chimes never stopped. He said he could repair it or replace the mechanism. We decided on the replacement. I am so glad that we found him and I would recommend him to anyone.

They were very helpful. They explained the repair in detail and were fairly priced. The repair was completed before the time they had projected.

Visited Belle Haven Jewelers with the intention of getting my grandfather's watch (circa 1960) cleaned up and to perhaps look at a Hamilton watch that I had seen online (Belle Haven Jewelers is one of the few Hamilton watch authorized dealers in the area). Shop owner was very responsive and quickly gave me a quote on watch rehab. Picked up watch a few weeks later and watch looked (almost) as good as new, bearing in mind that the watch has a few imperfections beneath the crystal on the face and a deeper scratch that wouldn't come out all the way.
Also looked at several Hamilton watches and the owner gave me an excellent deal on a watch that I really liked but hadn't noticed searching online (not as cheap as online retailers, but Belle Haven purchase comes with full Hamilton watch company 2-year warranty, unlike Amazon and other online merchants). Very knowledgeable staff (maybe a tad pushy) but I felt like I got a beautiful watch at a reasonable discount. Had a great selection of new watches (and some used).

we have brought several rings to Rami and he has repaired and resized them wonderfully!
He also has repaired several watches and clocks for us and has been very reasonable and utterly professional!
One nice Bulova watch he had all parts onhand and had it fixed the next day!
I wholeheartedly recomment Rami for ANY jewelry and watch or clock repair needs!

The work was done well, but the communication was difficult. I had to call repeatedly to determine whether the work was completed and the repairman never returned my calls. I had to call when he was in and catch him to ask if the work was finished. It took three weeks longer than quoted. The price was exactly as quoted. They forgot to order the clock key, after telling me they would, but I was not surprised given the poor communication.

spoke directly with watch repairman,Rami who came out to my home within 3-4 days;arrived within time planned, gave me an hour window when he would arrive; called to let me know he was running ~ 30 minutes later than planned on the day of appointment; he was very courteous and helpful; I will definitely use Rami as my manitenance clock guy

Perfectly. The owner of Belle Haven Jewelers came on the appointed time and figured out the problem immediately. He fixed the chime mechanism in very short order. Since he was here, he also lubricated all the moving parts of the clock.
