Avon Corporation was established in 1979, in the beginning providing services for small projects such as retaining walls, hardscape projects and landscape projects. Within a few years we quickly grew into a slightly larger company, able to handle small to medium size projects, such as park projects, drainage culverts and small building additions, and then we grew again a few years after that, into what we are today; a multi-faceted general contractor, which self performs most of our own work, and provides several specialty services, as well. We can build a building from the ground up, build additions, handle large site projects, parks & trails, drainage culverts, etc. Most of our ability can be attributed to our highly diverse personnel. We have carpenters, concrete finishers, masons, equipment operators, etc., which allows us to handle just about any project. We also employ highly skilled subcontractors, from which we have developed relationships with, over the years, to handle those tasks we do not. We take great pride in doing a good job, delivering it on time and within budget. Our name and reputation are our most prized assets. We keep a fully manned office during the week, a real person not just voice mail, which we feel is important. Sometimes you just need to speak to someone and we give you that. We are active in the entire Washington Metropolitan area from Frederick, MD to Fredericksburg, VA and we'll handle jobs ranging from a few thousand dollars up to several million dollars. We are licensed in all the local jurisdictions and we have additional licenses in Delaware and West Virginia. As you can see, we also offer several specialty services on top of our General Contracting ability and we also have a residential service.
