However, the kitchen was noticeably cleaned. I called Ash Maids and complained about the services, and nothing was done in return to correct the problem. I was hoping to have a company to come on a continuous basis, but unfortunately I have to keep searching.

Cleaned House from top to bottom. Maids did a good job of removing dirt and dust. Place was pretty clean when they were done.

I want to be clear. This was not a tenant move out cleaning. I was the owner occupier and as I said the home was 100% freshly painted and the floors were clean upon their arrival. They were to just detail the bathrooms, kitchen, and windows to get the home ready for showing. None of which were disgusting. Just needed to be wiped down and detailed. Again, they did not accomplish this as one of them cleaned the floors the entire time.
So now to the reason for my complaint. To make matters worse upon moving in my tenants used the garbage disposal and it doesn't work due to being full of glass from them breaking the shelf in the sink and washing the glass down the drain into the garbage disposal. This is going to cost me around $500 to replace I assume as I don't think it can be fixed. (The disposal was salvageable. The plumber only had to dismantle it and remove the glass which was confirmed to be from the broken shelf due to the white dots on it. This only cost around $200)
I did not put this complaint up right away. I called ASH maids and explained the situation to hopefully have them do the right thing which is either fix or replace the relatively new garbage disposal. I would have even split the cost with them if they made an effort. The owner ASH spoke with me rudely and said I'm the problem. How do I know it was his employees since it has been so long since the cleaning? I explained that the home was vacant until a few days ago so I know it was his employees whom broke the glass and sent it down the disposal and not the tenants or anyone else. He said well its been to long I can't do anything. I own up to problems my home improvement employees cause for my customers. This company does not. Do not use them if you want to deal with someone that does the right thing should there be a problem with their service. They were immediately on the defensive pushing blame on me or something else. Not the type of company you want to do business with.
As a new landlord, I'm going to have the disposal fixed for my new tenants at my own cost right away. The glass had little white dots on it from the fridge. I'm sure there will be glass with little white dots on it in the disposal as proof that this was a result from their crew. The crew was probably scared to tell management that they broke something hearing the way Ash spoke to me. I'm sure he treats his employees worse than his customers and that is why they don't share with him when they mess up. This is a company culture thing and not the type of company I would want to do business with.
Had I known I would have been dealing with this type of company I would have just rolled up my sleeves and cleaned my house myself, (which I ended up doing pretty much anyways.) It's unfortunate that I had to post this negative review.

All Ash said to this gentleman is that our job is guaranteed if any needs to be re-cleaned or fixed let us know within 24 Hrs. of the cleaning which was done February 9th and he called 1st week of April threatening to write a bad review unless we send a plumber right away. We go the extra mile for all of our customers, and extra 2 miles for our Angies List customers just like we did for this customer after we were informed by OUR crew (Which are NEVER reprimanded for breakage it comes with doing business) that they broke one of the refrigerator glass cover, We asked the customer to send us the serial number and we ordered it immediately and delivered it within a couple of days. This customer hasn't even opened the garbage disposal yet and he said he most likely will find broken glass in it!!!!"
I purchased an Angie's Deal for carpet cleaning. I selected Ash Maids among the many different carpet cleaning offers because they were highly rated, and covered the biggest area for the lowest price, including halls, stairways, etc. (I had well under the maximum square footage). And while their deal only covered one staircase, and I had two, I was willing to pay the extra $35 for the second staircase above and beyond the $199 deal price (it still ended up a better price than most others, some of which didn't include any stairs at all). I purchased the deal a few months before I was planning on scheduling the cleaning, but didn't have a difficult time scheduling once I was ready in January.
On the day of service, Ash Maids' representative (1 person) showed up early in the morning, at the appointed time. I have a three story townhome, so he parked in the driveway and took the cleaning hose into the front door and up the stairs to all needed areas (there are carpeted areas on the first and third floors, and both staircases are carpeted. He spent a good amount of time going over everything. I had tried to move most small things off the floor, but he took care of moving anything else that was practical to move, which I appreciated. One small challenge was that the truck's tank didn't have enough water in it to cover the entire house, so I had to open up my outdoor faucet in the back of the house (I don't have one in the front). Since I had already shut off and drained the water for the winter, I had to turn it all back on again -- but that wasn't a big problem, just something to be aware of that you might need an extra water source for the cleaning.
Re: quality, I think they did a pretty good job overall, and I did notice some difference. But I'm a little disappointed that the carpets didn't look even better, especially since I had understood that Berber carpets supposedly clean up really nicely. Note that although I had never had the carpets cleaned before (they are 14 years old), we don't wear shoes in the house, have no pets or kids, and they didn't have any major stains or anything except normal wear and tear. And they are clean, but not "wow" clean.
Of course, because of the age of the carpets, I also did have those dark filtration stain lines near baseboards, and while I didn't have expectations that these would disappear entirely I'd hoped a professional cleaning would address those better, but they're mostly still there. :-)
Anyway, all in all, I'm glad I had it done, and would consider using Ash Maids again for carpet cleaning.

However as she mentioned the carpet has not been cleaned in 14 years, and she is correct Berber carpet once steam cleaned does come out nicely although there is no pet and no shoes worn in the house carpet fiber does accumulate dust, soil...etc over the years.
