They never called me when my car was ready. They were condescending when I dropped it off. I picked up my car and they said they did 3 things which was all under warranty. They did not do the things they said that they did. I would not recommend them.

No electrical problems found, but two weeks later the car left me stranded. The problem turned out to be a dead cell in the battery. It was not at all obvious, as the battery was taking a very good charge even though it was five Years old. Ron was, as usual, very helpful.

This was a warranty action. I had looked up Angie's list ratings and chose this dealership since they had the best overall rating. I explained that my wife's rear view camera was getting a blue screen. They did diagnostics and indicated that the camera needed replacement and replaced it. That did not fix the problem and I went back for further diagnostics and they said the head unit needed to be replaced. They said they would call when the unit came in, but they never called. I decided to go to a different dealership. Parking there can be scarce depending on the time of day you go.

I had gotten my timing belt and drive belts replaced at a Hyundai dealership in a different city and about a week later my car was squealing when I turned the wheel. This Hyundai dealership examined them and they were loose. They fixed them for free and were very professional.

The sales representative was very professional and friendly. His knowledge of the Genesis was very good and his approach to selling very refreshing. No pressure to buy and no back and forth discussions about price.

We were anxious about the car buying process as neither of us is a very assertive person. After looking at a bunch of reviews online we decided to visit Alexandria Hyundai to test drive an Elantra. I had noticed the name Navid come up several time in positive reviews and was a little skeptical because it didn't seem like any other salespeople were specifically named. However, he happened to be the person to greet us when we went in. We were upfront that we were not going to buy that day and that we hadn't settled on which type of car we wanted. He was totally fine with that, let us test drive it by ourselves, and put no pressure whatsoever on us. A day later, we decided we did want to go with an Elantra (we were deciding between that, a Honda Fit, and a Mazda 2 or 3), and after doing some more pricing research, emailed him for a quote. We also got several other quotes from other dealers. His was the lowest by several hundred dollars, and included a small option package, which the other dealers didn't. We settled on an exact car via email and then offered to buy that day if he would lower the price by several hundred dollars, and he met the offer. Since we had done all this via email, I was still a little concerned about the possibility of a bait and switch. Not only was he as good as his word, when we explained on the phone that we needed to be in and out as quickly as possible, he had everything ready for us when we walked in. We were done and driving off the lot in an hour. I would recommend Navid to anyone. Peter (I think his name was) in finance was also very helpful and not pushy about adding extras. It was actually a *good* experience, which we totally had not expected.

They have always been polite and easy to work with. They have explained the problem to me and I feel that they have done good work. I haven't had an experience with them where they were trying to sell me services. It was two hours later than they originally told me that I could pick up my car. I had a really good experience purchasing my car there.

I spent $30 on that visit. I like that they are Hyundai authorized dealers. They were very responsive under the previous management. They were very accommodating and I could call ahead and they would squeeze me in for a service. Now I need to have an appointment, the prices have gone up and if I leave my car to get serviced, I will have to sit there and make sure the work is done.
