I had a really bad experience but it worked out in the long run. On April 14th she still had not given me my tax information and I was frantic. She got it done on the 14th and the following year she gave me a free tax prep. She made it good but the initial insanity. Everyday we were on the phone and she was like I will send it and then I would not get it. She made it up to me and she did apologize. When you expect something to be done. I gave her the information in February so it was a little crazy. I probably could have done it myself but I had some income from my mothers inheritance and was not sure how to do it, but it shouldn't have taken that long. She made it up, she apologized in person as well as over the phone. She is a nice lady, she has a crazy business and she did make it up to me but it was insanity for a while. She was maybe 5 minutes a late and that was nothing to me so no big deal. She seemed to be very professional. She did not spend a lot of time with me but I am not a business so she did not need to spend a lot of time me. The whole thing was a little weird, she had a dog there. I was shocked when a year later I called her and she remembered it was free. She did not try to hassle me.
Poonam B. has been doing my personal taxes for the last 5 years. Each time I go to her ? she provides some insight of the IRS rules and regulations which I did not know before. If it were not for her professional advice, I still be doing taxes as I did 20 years ago. Beside her professional services, I also get greeted by her and her pleasant staff members. I prefer a Tax Accountant who takes time to understand my needs and recommends ways of saving vice rushing me. That would make me feel like I am just a number. That is not what I feel here.
I would recommend Accounting Solutions to anyone who is looking for tax services with a personal touch. At end of the day, we are people with emotions and how we get treated ? ?matters?,
We plan to go to them again next year - they have a good grasp of our tax situation (even when we don't). We get a prep sheet/checklist before our appointment so we know what to bring (receipts, bills, etc) which makes everything go quickly. They are very thorough and available to answer our questions.
I ended up posting my tax return on the very last possible day of the IRS deadline, which made me highly uncomfortable.
