A-1 was prompt with their estimate. Because the temperature was in the 90’s, they gave me priority. They were prompt and outlined the work to be completed. Upon completion, they explained the operation of the new unit. Follow up was excellent.

A-1 has performed the seasonal maintenance on our high efficiency Carrier gas furnace for 3 consecutive years. I typically call and they are able to have someone out within the week (or sooner), and can flexibly fit my schedule. Their workers clearly introduce themselves and wear protective coverings on their shoes. They perform the service and clean up after themselves. They test the system once they are done. They had come highly recommended from a neighbor who used them to install a new system. I would highly recommend them.

Pat arrived as promised, taught us how to find the humidity setting on the thermo-control and cleaned the blower wheel that a light coating of dust after 11 years use. Pat was very thorough and speedily completed the work. He is the tech you want working on your system with the amount of experience he has gained. We'll be calling them the next time we need an assist.

It went very well. I called Friday evening and the contractor was able to come first thing Saturday morning. He quickly diagnosed problem and made required repair to get HVAC back in operation during extremely hot weather.

I have a contract with them. They come like twice a year. I think it is $300 for the whole year. The quality is fine. They are very good and very easy to work with. They arrive when they are scheduled. I would use them again.

We just moved from one house to another. We used to use A-1 Heating and Air. They just completed our annual service this past fall. We had a maintenance contract, so there was no charge. I would give them an A rating for all the categories. We are not planning on using them again because we just moved into a house that has a 10 year warranty on the system, so we don't plan on using them. I would use them again if we didn't have the warranty.

They were here the summer of 2016.

I use what they call the A-1 Heating and Air Company.  They were here the beginning of Fall/Winter 2016.  My husband is the one that pays it, but it's not very expensive.  They were contracting to our parts and that's why we got them.  We have a yearly contract with them.  We have been using them since 1975.  It's easy scheduling with them.  We're very happy with them.

The work is very good and I'm very satisfied with them.

It well pretty well. They were on time; they were professional. However, their prices have sky-rocketed in the last year. You have a choice of inspecting both heating and air conditioning at the same time or having separate more timely inspections for substantially more expense. The inspection of the air conditioner was originally scheduled for October. They couldn't give me an appointment before then, but an opening did happen in August - still near the end of the air conditioning season.

The old unit quit because its circuit card controller had a burned relay rendering the unit unrepairable.

my family retired from the military here and have had contracts with A-1 for quite a while. I bought my house from my mother when she retired from teaching and she gave me a contract with A-1 as a house warming gift. I have owned my house since 2006 and have renewed the contract every year sense.

This is a friendly, punctual and professional company.  A part on our furnace died on Thanksgiving and they sent someone to fix the problem that day.  I would and do recommend them to everyone I know. 

Provider arrived on time, went right to work and tuned up the entire HVAC unit both inside and outside components. He gave the best HVAC tunig up I have received from a variety of providers.

We had checked with a number of business's on Angie's List and were so disappointed with either the lack of response, failure to show for an estimate, high costs for an estimate or prices through the proverbial roof. I had heard from my nephew about A-1. A-1 was not only the most responsive but also far and away the best price. They came out within one day. The cost to replace was provided within a few days after they came out again to check certain measurements. The price was so good that I immediately agreed. The A/C unit was installed with a crane within 1 week. The crane also removed the old unit to the ground where it was disassembled and removed by smaller trucks.The only difficulty was figuring out the programmable thermostat but the learning curve was pretty quick. 
I cannot say enough nice things about the experience. The cost was $5000 better than anyone else and they were more professional than all their competitors. The owner is a true gentleman, and I can recommend A-1 with the highest praise of any business we have ever dealt with in the past. 

My 14 year old heat pump stopped cooling yesterday.  I called A-1, recommended by a neighbor, for an estimate to replace entire unit since it had been serviced by another company within the last month and I figured it had reached the end of its life span based on my experience over the years.  Pablo, while preparing his estimate, checked the outside unit and concluded by the noise it was making that my problem might be as simple as replacing the capacitor which I agreed to.  He replaced the capacitor, the unit is now working and I have an estimate in my hands.  A-1, based on my positive experience with Pablo, will be seriously considered when replacement is necessary.

They're really good at what they do.  The people are very nice and they're nice to my cats.  I've been using them for 35 years.  One time, my AC went out in August and they installed a new one two days later.
