Same Day Service

HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL - Fly by night company. Their repair did not even last 15 mins after charging $300 to repair my ice maker. Called them back, and they would not respond. Main motive of this company is to cheat customers and take their money. I would never ever hire this company (which seems to keep operating under various names) ever again.

I am amending my previous review written on 2/9/18. "SameDay Service Inc" replaced the motor on the refrigerator with supposedly a new one, and just over 2 months later the motor began making loud noises and needs to be replaced. I called Same Day Service to ask if anything can be done since it seems to be a faulty part. The woman on the phone said there is nothing that can be done because the warranty is good for only 30 days. Paying over $300 for a replacement motor to last just 30 days is an outright rip off. They could have at least offered to come look at it (they would charge an additional service charge)! I would not hire this company for anything ever again.

The repair seems to be working fine. There was some confusion since when I looked for a company online I called “Ashburn Appliance Repair” . I dialed the number for them and thought that is who I was hiring, but when I noticed the invoice read "SameDay Service Inc" instead of Ashburn Appliance Repair I emailed SDS to ask if it was one and the same company but SDS never got back to me. I contacted the "real" Ashburn Appliance Repair and spoke to the owner, who said his website needed updating and that Same Day Service was using "Ashburn Appliance Repair" on their website as well. Could cause some confusion so just make sure you are hiring the company you expect.

The service technician showed up within an hour of scheduling/initial call. He was knowledgeable, fast and no-fuss flat rate (based on facts) kind of person. Everything was explained to me and was serviced very promptly. He also called to check in within a week of service on performance of my newly renewed A/C :). Very satisfied, highly recommend.

On Monday I called this company because we had just tried turning our A/C unit and found that it wasn't working. They scheduled me for the same day and had a technician out there within a couple of hours. He found that the thermostat had stopped working and that the filter needed to be changed. He gave me a reasonable price and said that he could fix it right then and there. I gave him the go ahead and we haven't had any issues since. I'm very happy with the service. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He knew what he was doing, and the customer service was excellent. I will definitely be using this company again.

I was having trouble with my heating system. I was getting no heat from my gas furnace. I called Same Day Service on February 1 around 10:00 AM and they scheduled a technician to come the same day. He came around 1:00 PM on February 1st and he fixed the issues with the gas furnace and my heat was back on again! Same Day Service are amazing people, they truly did there job as a professional company. I called 3 different companies to come and check out what's going on with the gas furnace and none of them couldn't come. If it wasn't for Same Day Service I would be freezing right now. I will definitely give them a call again and I would recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you Same Day Service!
