Northern Virginia only mows the lawn when it needs to be done unlike other companies. After their daughter took over it's been a little slack.

They have taken care of our lawn for many years. They don't come out every month but six times a year. I have never had any other lawn service so I don't have anything to much compare them to. I can't judge their price because I have don't know what other people charge. I never really had to call them so I can't tell about their responsiveness. 

Workers arrived early in the AM (which I like) and immediately began work. They were extremely courteous and very approachable and every customer request was accepeted graciously. This  was a very good experience

It took a little time to get on the schedule, but when they started they did a wonderful job!.  My yard has never looked so great.  I hope to have them back to contiue the maintenance on my yard.

Overall I was less than pleased with the work. They tried to be very attentive and tried to get the job done according to what we were seeking. Some of the work was fine but overall it was sub par. They did a very good job on the clean up and leaf removal. The cutting of the lawn and hedges was less than satisfactory. I had a service agreement with them. We paid about $120 a month for the lawn cutting and they are certainly less than there competitors. The service was average and if you only want average work this group might be fine.

I use them all the time and have been using them monthly for the last eight years. They are great people and I would highly recommend them. I last used them to chop down trees and remove shrubs. They also leveled out the soiled area, prepared the ground and planted seeds. They are by far the best service for the least amount of money in the Chantilly, VA area. They are always prompt and very reasonably priced too.

We had used this company for the past 3-4 years. Their work was for the most part acceptable, though not better than that. This season, however, things took a marked downward turn. Sloppy, choppy cuts, crews showing up early in the morning and mowing when the grass was still quite wet, which turned the product of their "mulching mower" into pasty grass pancakes that, far from helping the lawn, killed the grass beneath them by cutting off the sunlight. The last straw was a few weeks ago, when a crew showed up first thing in the morning after a few days of very heavy rain. Their heavy commercial mower dug deep furrows and gouges in the very wet soil, churning large portions of the lawn into a muddy mess. When I protested that this was totally unacceptable, the response was that the company was "aware of [my] concerns" and would "try to address them in the future".
