He did a fabulous job. The porch is beautiful.

Todd and his guys redid the major part of our basement and added a closet to our upstairs sitting room. In the basement, they installed new cabinets at one end of our rec room; built new cabinets on another wall to hold a large flat-screen TV and other AV equipment; closed off an unneeded basement hallway to create two new closets; added under-cabinet and recessed lighting, as well as wiring for rear-mounted speakers; installed new carpet; and painted. Upstairs, they built a new closet, with many built-in shelves, to accommodate much of my wife's stuff.

Overall, we were very pleased with the work and, particularly with Todd. He was pleasant to deal with, generally responsive, and quite competent (as shown by the finished product). To the extent that we interacted with his subs, we also found them to be very good and able to come up with creative solutions on the spot.

We had gotten, I believe, three bids, and Todd's was the lowest, though not so low as to raise a red flag.

We were also so impressed with a couple of Todd's subcontractors that we later hired them to do additional work.

We paid them somewhere between $18000 and $20000. They were recommended to me by the company that did some landscaping for me. We had somebody else that was supposed to do this and they bailed on us. That is why we were behind on this project. So, when the landscaper did our patio, I told him that we needed somebody to do this work. That’s when he came up with Kraftson. They recommend each other. So, we brought that guy out based on that recommendation. We liked what he was proposing. So, we went ahead and got him to do that work. They were easy to work with. They were on time. If they miss a part of a day due to something, they let you know ahead of time. I am very satisfied with them. I would surely use their services in the future too.

Todd and his assistant Darren were extremely easy to deal with. Todd bested my expectations on quality of workmanship. In addition, Todd made some on the fly changes from the architect's drawings which resulted in superior results and avoided some serious design problems. It was a pleasure to observe Todd and his assistant working together without friction or backbiting in comparison to other contractors we have used who spent the entire day antagonizing and fighting with each other.

My experience with Kraftson Construction could not have been better! Todd and his employee showed up promptly. They worked all day and were finishing up the job when I returned from work. Todd and his crew are American born-and-raised so there was no issue with communication. Work quality was impeccable. They laid the decking material with the precision similar to laying a hardwood floor (well beyond my expectations)! To top it off, Todd even made a quick trip to the nearby hardware store to pick up a replacement light when he discovered that one of the decking lights was damaged!! Overall, Todd and his crew completed the work on time and within budget. He was open and honest throughout the whole process. The most amazing part...Todd's innovative way of laying the decking material meant a minimal amount of scraps were left over (most of the scraps fit in one trash bag). I was able to return 30 of the original 55 Azek deck boards (the lumber supplier estimated 55 boards would be needed for a deck of my size). The refund from the boards practically paid for Kraftson Constructions work! My only regret is that I didn't get Kraftson Construction to build my original deck!
