She was generally professional when she came to give me an estimate to have my Hunter Douglas Luminettes cleaned. However, what I saw on the day she came to my house was the complete opposite. I had had my carpets cleaned a week before she came. She had removed the panels (they had not been cleaned yet) from my window treatments and placed them on my clean carpet. She did not lay out plastic on my carpet and then place my dirty panels on them. When I pointed out the dirt spot on my carpet, she said that it was not her and argued with me. I was in a state of shock when I arrived home because the smell from the cleaning fluid was overwhelming and to see my window treatments in the state that they were in. As I asked questions, she was very impatient with me. I was incredulous over the way she was treating me in my own home. Her husband was there helping her. He pulled out one of my upholstered dining room chairs (he's sweating) and sat down. There were plenty of chairs in my kitchen that he could have sat on. How an interior decorator could not have told her husband not to sit in my white upholstered chair is beyond me. She had touched my thermostat without asking my permission. For one week, my house smelled, and it traveled through the vents. When I expressed concern about the smell at the time she was cleaning, she was incredibly dismissive. I was appalled at the lack of professionalism she demonstrated in my house, which is why I am filing a report because I would not want anyone to have to go through what I did--rudeness, unprofessionalism, horrendous smell, not to mention the expensiveness of this process. I will never use her again.
