BETHEL SCHOOLHOUSE ANTIQUES

The grounds of the schoolhouse are beautiful, with scenic views all around. We were really surprised at how an old school could feel so charming and inviting. Our favorite room was the auditorium. The owner told us that the wood floors were original in this room and prior students that had shopped there had asked her not to change them. They have a vast collection of antiques and handcrafted furniture. I was really surprised by how much was there. There was beautiful woodwork in every direction I looked. Many of the handcrafted pieces had been made from reclaimed wood that was nearly 200 years old. It is a little piece of heaven and I can't wait to go back and purchase something for my home. The owner told me that they had hosted dinners, Bible studies and held afternoon teas from time to time. I know exactly where my next gathering will be held!
