Wall Service Heating & Air Conditioning

Pat Wall did a great job in a stressful situation.  Our A/C went out on Thursday evening during record breaking heat wave in SLC.   I called for service Friday morning, and he came that evening.  He determined that I had a dead short in the system and it was fully fried and unusable.  Because of the weekend he was unable to order new unit until Monday.  I wanted a high SEER unit, but the entire western USA was out of the size needed for my house.  In order to get up right away, he asked if I would accept a builder grade unit (the alternative was to wait a week to ten days or longer for the one I wanted.)  We agreed to go with the cheaper, less efficient unit.  He was able to get that unit the same day, and installed it that night.   The new unit works great and keeps the house cool.
Pat felt bad about the situation, and gave me a great deal on the unit. 
I went with Wall Service through word-of-mouth (he does no adverstising) and was definitely pleased with the professionalism and high level of service.  I would definitely use him again.

Was a little problem with the scheduling, they left a bit of a mess, and just kind of left the last 10 feet of bathroom fan tubing for me to finish. Overall I am pleased with the work and the suggestions made to heat my basement as efficiently as possible. I fear I may have overpaid a bit though, but they have been good on other projects within the family.

I have been working on finishing my basement, and one important piece is to have heat and air conditioning. Since I am clueless when it comes to stuff like that, I paid some people to do it for me. The people did a great job of installation. They didn't make a huge mess, and they put all the ducts up where they needed to be. They also got me nice vent covers that are like the ones in the rest of my house. They weren't pushy about getting paid immediately, and they were great to work with. The only thing that was a little different is that it took a while to get the work done. Initially, they came out in about a week, but then it took about 3 weeks before they came out and finished the job. Maybe they were busy with a lot of other calls.
