The owner was nice when I was getting the cabinets. I was working on a
remodel and I had all of my appliances there when he came to measure. It
took me a little while to get the remodel to a point where I could put
my appliances back. When I tried putting the fridge in I couldn't get it
in all the way. There is a 5" gap between the wall and the back of my
fridge. Also, the cabinets above my fridge and microwave are way to
high. Once I found this out I called to have him come and look at it.
The owner said he would. He never called and never came. I talked to him
the next day and he said he was coming later that day. Again, he never
called or came. After that he wouldn't answer any of my calls or return
any of my messages. Finally a week later I got him to return my call and
he refused to come and fix his mistakes. He referred me to someone
else. I would not recommend him. He is very nice when you talk to him,
but he is not good to work with.

It went terrible. The owner is extremely unprofessional, unresponsive, and unmotivated. True, their prices are the lowest for custom work (most things however can be done for half the price with great quality at a home depot or lowes; but i was looking for a really custom look). In my opinion i'd much rather pay a few bucks more to get my project done right and in a reasonable amount of time.
After 3 months of not even being able to get a firm quote (I only received an estimate) from 1st choice cabinets, I decided not to continue with this company. I heard every excuse from them, holidays, timing, personal crisis, blah blah blah. There is just no way I would feel comfortable giving them a deposit for materials and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to do the same.
