I had posted a negative review, but I was contacted by a company official and we were able to resolve our issue satisfactorily. I was glad that they care about their reputation and were willing to work with me to get it resolved.

Perfect service. You will pay a little more but be glad that you did to get the best quality system and service.Mike Wolfe at the Layton and Ogden store was a true professional and hooked me up with a lightning fast solid state drive high end laptop for my engineering business. I also got a free Windows 8 phone and a free jetpack Verizon hotspot with my new computer. One year old now and it handles everything I need and all the most demanding engineering programs I throw at it. Highly recommended for professionals and parents of high end gamers alike. I will buy from them again. PC Laptops far exceeded my expectations!

PC Laptops are good. They are very knowledgeable and thorough. The things I don't know, I can trust them to know. They are proactive about things that I should or shouldn't do. They are intimidated. The only thing is they are always busy and take a weeks time to repair my computer. I wish they were faster.

My mother-in-law went in to upgrade her laptop, which she had purchased from this company, because it was running slowly. Vendor talked her into buying a new, way over-priced desktop computer and monitor ($1,700.00). When she got home and told us about it, we were shocked at the price tag, and that they had talked her into buying something she didn't need. So, she called them and asked them to cancel the purchase. My wife, her daughter, went in to pick up the laptop she had left there, and to get a refund of the $300 deposit she had paid for the new system. She was met by the salesperson who had sold the computer, who wasn't satisfied with my wife's repeated requests to "just take care of this quickly and professionally". He lit into her, subjecting her to 15-20 minutes of why he was right and she was wrong, with another member of the staff joining in to harangue her. It was a terrible experience. It has become clear to us that their lifetime warranty, which appears to at least double the price paid for their merchandise, is nothing but a ruse to get people to buy, and when they come in for repairs, they work very hard to up-sell the customer, taking advantage of those who don't know any better. She has needed repairs for her laptop several times throughout its history, while the fact is that most computers need little or no repairs during their useful lifetime. Their merchandise is apparently low quality in spite of being extremely over-priced. My mother-in-law could have purchased an equivalent computer with a full extended warranty covering its reasonable useful life for much less money. We know, because we have done just that with several computers in our household over the past year. We only regret she didn't ask us before going looking for a new computer. Apparently she thought we were too busy. I believe I can get her existing laptop running much better with little or no cost to her, but if not, she could get more of a new computer than she needs and save over $1,000 compared to what PC Laptops charged her. Amazingly, they wanted $1,700 for the new computer, which included a $400 trade-in for her laptop. I might pay that much for a workstation for my software engineering that I do day in and day out, but it would be a much better machine than they were selling, and certainly far more machine than my mother-in-law could ever justify. Fortunately, we were able to get her a refund in this case, although they made sure they exacted a "price" from my wife for having the nerve to request a refund. This is a place we will avoid at all costs, and recommend others do so as well. I hope it's not inappropriate to say so here, but I have heard several similar stories from other people who have dealt with this company. They lived up to their poor reputation today.

Bad, bad and bad. They are not honoring their warranty. Buy from Dell a lot cheaper. They get their part from China and very low quality.

I have had a few laptops and I have always had to spend hours on the phone with the customer No-service of these other companies. I have been so frustrated with these other laptops and even desktops that I have purchased and with the "customer service" that they had. When I decided that it was time to get a new laptop... I decided to pay a little extra and get a PC Laptop. They have always been extremely friendly when I've been in any of their stores and always willing to help or fix a problem. I had a lot of important information on my hard drive when it crashed. I took it in and they put in a new hard drive (at no cost). The guy tried for two weeks to get the information and finally got it off. The drive would get about 90% of the way through the retrieval process and then freeze. It took him about 90 tries to get it... but he did and he didn't give up. They've always been helpful and I've never received a bill for anything. The extra $ is so worth it!

I felt it was a good experience. They were helpful, but we had to prod them along to get the computer done on time. I felt that the price was lousy because it is a fairly new computer. I felt this should have been covered under the warranty.

This was a good experience. I knew we had a virus, but I needed professional help to remove it. The mother board had to be ordered, but they finished in a timely manner.

They did an awesome job. It did not take long. In addition to fixing the modem, they did a thorough check up of my computer. They called as soon as it was done. My computer was in better shape after I took it in.
