Builders Choice

During 2021 I worked to finish a 1400 sq ft basement. We planned 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and a utility room. In order to make sure I was getting a good deal I contacted 8 companies, saw 6 of them come to my house to generate a quote, of which only 5 sent the quotes. Out of all those, Builderâ s Choice was the clear winner. They were not the cheapest and they were not the most expensive. What made Builders Choice stand out was that from the very beginning Steve was very enthusiastic about my project and showed he actually cared about my project. He worked with me on my ideas and I believe that the floor plan we worked together on was better from both our inputs. He had the first draft for me in under 12 hours! After the project started I was again amazed with Builders Choice As every sub contractor they had for plumbing, electrical, framing, drywall and painting were all excellent, professional people that I would work again with in a heartbeat. Steve himself is very quick to answer text messages and handle questions. Hands down I will do business again with Steve if I need any more work done on my house. If you need any work done on your house in the SLC valley, include Builderâ s Choice in your list of companies to get quotes from, you will be surprised by the difference they offer.

I would give more stars if I could. He helped us through every step of the process. He was kind, helped us figure out how to make things work within our budget, and He knows his stuff! He didn’t consider the project done until all the little details were finished. (We’ve had other projects that were left unfinished by other contractors.) He gives advice but then will let you do things the way you want, even if it’s not what he recommends. And it’s quality work. He has a good team of sub contractors. Everyone was professional and nice. I never felt weird having them working in my home. I would highly recommend builders choice!

We have had Steve do some remodeling for us for years. First he remodeled our dining room windows, basement rooms and basement bathroom in our Sandy home in the 1970's--all perfect and exactly what we wanted,. About 7 years ago he remodeled out home in Riverton, He finished our basement with three bedrooms and a bathroom---all great--no problems. 2 years ago, he remodeled our kitchen (WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFULL), he put in a very large island, wonderful pantry, induction stove and double ovens, Redid all the floors in kitchen and bathrooms. We have never had any problems with Steve. He always make sure that he does exactly what he says he will. He is always on time and extremely nice to work with. His prices are well worth every penny. I HIGHLY recommend him and always will.

We purchased a 22 year old home that needed a lot of remodeling done. Builders Choice came out and did a walk thru and got back with us the next day with a computer drawing and a plan to move forward, very professional . We added a larger master bathroom and closet and also added a laundry room upstairs. Totally redid the the family room and kitchen and floors. It was a large project they did and turned out beautiful.

He does everything! He is very particular about his work and does a great job!
