It went very well. They were quick to call as soon as they were through with the initial inspection, in order to give me an update on the issues they found. They alerted me to my dire need for new brakes - something I had been inquiring about for the past year to other mechanics during scheduled oil changes. Sure enough, I needed new brakes, calipers and rotors. When they called, they had a parts and labor estimate already prepared, they just needed my go-ahead. They had my car ready for pick-up in the time they estimated; the time they took to repair and service was also reasonable, considering the work they needed to do.
The only slight hiccup was realizing after we picked it up was that the brakes were soft. Turns out, they never flushed the air out of the brake lines when they replaced the brake fluid. Kind of annoying to pump it out ourselves, but no biggie.
They even provided a bunch of coupons that were applicable for the amount and type of service we were charged, saving us a little over 100! All employees were friendly, courteous, and quick to make sure we had been helped. The waiting room is ok - basic stuff, and clean.

Great! Found reasonably priced tires quickly and were nice. Clean store and bathroom! Ordered tires and I will go back to have them put on.

I have used Discount several times, even more recently for tires for a friend (but don't have the date). I have found them to be professional with pricing reasonable, but not the lowest. I had been using two other tire / service chains, until I had bad experiences with them, one mechanically serious. So have used Discount (in St. George) for the last two years. They do try to upsell, as has been the case will all other tire stores I've dealt with, but work with you, your needs and budget. With an appointment, it's a quick turn around.
