Tooele Veterinary Clinic

Tried this vet several times and was VERY unhappy. There is a female vet Dr. Close who is WONDERFUL...but they wont guarentee you can see her, even when she is requested! The owner is abrupt, and more interested in $$$ and the front staff is HORRIBLE ...rude, uninterested, and could care less about accomodating their clients. It is like they know they are 1 of only 2 vets in town and you can and quot;take it or leave itand quot;. Final straw was when I took my aging dog in for a teeth cleaning. They called me to say they had an emergency and were running late...fine, I understand that. HOWEVER, when I picked her up hours later, she had obviously had diahreah while caged and they HOSED HER OFF WITH FREEZING WATER, brought her out to me with her hind end from the waist down freezing, soaking wet and smelling like they had quickly rubbed a dirty horse blanket over her. The best part???? WHEN I GOT HOME AND CHECKED HER TEETH THEY HAD NOT EVEN BEEN CLEANED OR IF THEY WERE, IT WAS BY A CHIMP. Called them to ask for an explanation of both her condition she was returned to me(I should have flipped out in the waiting room when they brought her to me but was too nice and polite to do so) and why her teeth were STILL dirty and smelly and got nothing but a smart a**ed attitude and no help. I disputed the charge on my CC(and won) and have never gone back. HORRIBLE!!!!!! I cant fathom the 1 A rating on here unless it is by a relative or employee. I have spoken to other pet owners since and they all say the samwe thing: rude staff, uncaring attitude, loving and requesting Dr. Close and being sent to the owner or his son instead, abrupt care and high prices.

Joe Roundy is the veterinarian at Tooele Veterinary Clinic. He loves his job. He is in-tune with what he is doing. He cares about me and he cares about the animal. He is friendly. I just like him. I would use him again in the future for my pet.
