There is too much to list in regards to our experience with this pathetic company! Completely disorganized, disrespectful, dishonest, unprofessional! Our house took water damage 2 different times due to their work performed, the tech “forgot” to add on the invoice that he worked on the stuck valve so there is no paper trail of him doing it, which started leaking and caused damage to our basement ceiling, walls and carpet! Due to no paper trail of him doing any work the company said they are not reliable for any damage because there is no proof that he did in fact work on it. The last comments from Alan the owner were we are not reliable and will not be helping with any of the damages. Shame on you as a business owner!

Alan and his staff of plumbers have completed work on our home over the years. Most recently he repaired a leaking bathroom valve. He also expertly installed two new faucets we had purchased elsewhere. He has successfully repaired a previous job from another plumber that failed. He is quick to show up and works hard to fix requests. In all my projects none of his work has failed. We use All Types Plumbing exclusively for our repair needs.

My water heater went out in the middle of the night and obviously needed hot water to shower in the morning before work. I called up after seeing all types online and saw they were local to me, I reached a messaging service but after I left my message; within ten minuets I got a call from Alan. I explained my problem to him and he was very receptive and knowledgeable, talking me through a quick phone diagnosis. I authorized him to come and take a look at the problem and he not only came out after hours to look at it, he did the work as well! I am used to others always waiting for parts to be ordered, or rescheduling until business hours, but Alan had everything he needed!

They did a job on our property in Salt Lake City.   My brother who lives in the house, but is mentally incapable of making a decision, called them to do this job.   The technician could see that he was not capable of making a decision did not ask to get approval from the owner of the home.  I was in Florida at that time,  and had told my brother not to do anything without checking for different bids.   He was given a bill for   an hour and a half of work for the amount of $383.36.   When we found out about it, we contacted these people, and told them, we felt that the bill was excessive, and that they should have asked to speak to the owners of the property, they said they would check it and see if they could maybe adjust this bill.  We never heard back from them, until they now have threatened to put a lein on our property, and are unwilling to work with us.   I feel that they took advantage of a situation and did not follow protocol of  this.

My Mom called to have a leak under the sink fixed. She also wanted to replace the waterline from the watersource to the ice machine -with copper instead of plastic.  Dave came out right away, when he  arrived he put in the copper line for the ice maker, then told her that there was a "problem" with the hot and cold lines under the sink - they were both leaking.  Dave's assistant told him "I don't think there is anything wrong with the lines to these faucets." and Dave responded, "Well that's job security."   - Don't know if they know Mom was standing right there?       In the meantime Dave was told repeatedely that the problem was with the dishwasher, after he fixed "the job security made-up problem", he never even looked at the dishwahser.
The next day there was still water on the floor in the kitchen.  When Mom called to report that the leak was not fixed, she spoke with Dan - apparently Dave's brother?   Who was very disrespctful and rude and inquired if Mom expected them to buy her a new dishwasher?   When Mom hung up on him because of his rudeness, he called her back!!!!     She hung up on him again - and he called BACK!!!  He insisted that they would come back to assess the problem (which was the dishwasher)  when they did come back - Mom immediiately told them she would not be paying them any more money.    Dave took the kickplate off the front of the dishwasher to look under it and said "Yes" your dishwasher is leaking - but he indicated it would be an additional charge to fix that. At that point Mom did have him leave.
Mom elected to remove the dishwasher to eliminate the source of the leak - because it was hard-wired in, she called an electrician, Steve.  When Steve was working on the electric, he pointed out that the drainpump hose was cracked - this was in all likelhood the cause of the original leak which should have been discovered during the inital service call by A+ Plumbing.

Needless to say we will check Angie's list prior to calling for any other services.

They came out to remove something from my disposer, and they ended up charging me $120.00. That amount is more than a new disposer.  I feel like they at least should have given me a option to put a whole new disposer in.   

This was a very basic job that All Types Plumbing performed as though it was very complicated. They used two men for a one man job. The sink perhaps required to men to move it to position. Other than that we paid to have one watch the other given that the space to install was very small. When the invoice was handed to me and I reacted to the price, I felt very intimidated as the installers (Dan and Dave) towered over me, so I handed them a check to avoid any confrontation. After stopping payment on the check this went to small claims court where I lost. I made the most basic mistake in home repair by not requesting an estimate. In preparation for the court appearance, I got 4 other bids that averaged $400 or about 1/3 what All Types charged me. I would not recommend using All Types Plumbing. You should also note that they may be listed as "A All Types Plumbing" or "D and D Repair Services".

The guy came by our home while I was out of town and replaced a valve on one of our pipes. It turned out to be the wrong pipe, and I had to fix it when I got home. I was very dissatisfied with the work and experience with the company.
