Royalty Services gave us a call to tell us they were on their way to the house ( which I really appreciate).   They arrived on time, and quickly got to work cleaning debris, dust and dirt from over 20 of our ducts and returns.  They carefully padded corners of the walls and were exceptionally courteous and thorough. All my questions were answered and they showed me pictures of the ducts as the job went along.  Overall it was a good experience and well worth getting this arduous job done by expert professionals.

My house smells so much better and my AC is much quieter! Royalty costs more than others, but I was VERY impressed with their professionalism and their communication skills. When I called inquiring about their process they were very thorough with their explanations. I also greatly appreciated that they did not use a chemical treatment in the vents. This treatment is completely unnecessary and the EPA website recommends only using chemical treatments when there are severe cases of mold (not a common problem in Utah), as the chemical treatment can pose health risks for those inhaling it. Royalty arrived on time, spent close to 3 hours cleaning our dirty ducts in our small home (the woman who lived in our home before us had not cleaned them in her 3 years in the home), and was very thorough with the entire process. You get what you pay for and this is worth the extra money.

Bryan DeGrange and Samson Rollins from Royalty Services did an excellent job for me. They were extremely professional and well equipped. They showed up on time and worked very cleanly, efficiently, and thoroughly. They were very careful as well, including putting down protectors to prevent any damage to the walls when they brought the big vacuum hose in from outside. Before they left, they even fixed a problem that was not their fault and that they had no obligation to fix, so in that sense they went above and beyond what was expected. They were also happy to stop and answer questions at any time during the process. I got many different bids for the job through ServiceMagic, and the prices I was quoted were all over the map. I wound up going with Royalty Services because, even though they were the most expensive, they were one of only three companies in my area who showed up on the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) website as having certifications, and moreover they had certifications for multiple employees. The other two companies with NADCA listings had either gotten bad or no reviews here on Angie's List at the time, so I did not bother with them. In the process of getting bids, one company claimed to be NADCA certified, but was not listed on the website at all. So, if you care about the training and professionalism of the people performing air duct cleaning for you, Royalty Services is the way to go, and even if you don't care about the certifications, you will not regret hiring them. I would most certainly do so again!
