Accent Painting

We decided to hire Accent painting because they had great reviews, that was a mistake. I scheduled with Josh to start on December 9 2024, he said they would take down light fixtures, towel bars and door hinges and fix any holes smaller then a quarter. I emailed Josh on December 5th to find out what time we needed to meet the painters on 12/9/2024, no response. I called Josh 12/6/2024 and left a message, no response. Sunday 12/8/2024 i decided to text Josh, he responded 3 hours later he said it would be Tuesday or Wednesday before they could start. I told him that the painting had to be done by 12/16/24 that we have carpet being installed. Josh said they would reach out to me tomorrow (12/9/24). They called and said they would start on Tuesday. The painters arrived on Tuesday to start. They finished on Saturday, they said to put blue tape on what needed to be fixed. There was not enough blue tape to fix the issues! They did not patch any holes and did not do any of the things I was told would be done. They said they had covered the lights before they filled holes and did not see them. We scheduled for them to come back on 12/23/24 to fix holes and do touch ups. On Monday the 23rd they came to fix the issues, they did not cover our brand new carpet or flooring. I was asking why the flooring was not covered, they did not speak English. I had paint on the carpet and flooring, at this point I am so p*****. They did not know the difference between semigloss and high gloss paint. They then rolled the area's that had to be fixed. In the end this is not a professional paint job. I will not recommend them.

You're really not going to find a company like these guys many places. I'm not just talking about the incredible job they did for us. Or how easy they were to work with. I'm talking about the caliber of people who run this place. So, hear me out: We reached out to Accent Paint initially because of their good reviews. So, Zach comes over to see the paint job we needed on the upstairs. When he found out that our daughter passed away two months earlier, he got quiet - and later left promising to get us a quote. Well, we hear back a week later that their entire team wants to paint the upstairs as a gift from their company to our family. I almost couldn't speak on the phone. In the entire process that soon unfolded, they were professional and SO kind and attentive - helping us pick colors, checking in at a good time to do this. They took their time and did such a quality job - and Jessica came in and painted "Emma" on the wall taking a picture, before they covered it. I still get emotional thinking back on the experience year ago. They don't realize what this did for our family. This experience TRANSFORMED our home - and reminded us how much good is in the world. If you need a painter - LOOK. NO. FURTHER. They're not out to just make money. They care about people - and will treat you fairly. Overall a Fabulous Experience and very professional-quality work. Accent Painting is very responsive and professional. Matt arrived on time. He answered my questions about the process and showed me pictures of work he had done. He sent me an estimate later that day. His crew came on time and were very professional and pleasant. They asked pertinent questions when needed. They worked quietly and quickly. They cleaned up afterwards. We had a walk-though before I paid the bill.

They very carefully draped off my rooms, so that the paint would not damage anything, moved items to protect them, and they painted my ceilings ( including several different heights of ceilings--up to a 20 ft entry and the stairway which varied ceiling heights requiring several changes in scaffolding.  Not an easy job.
My ceilings look wonderful, any mess was cleaned up, and I am very impressed by the professionalism and quality of this group of painters.  I would highly recommend.  Very honest and trustworthy.

From the first call to Matt, he was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and understanding of our previous situation. Since the other painter already got our money, Matt was kind enough to let us pay him when he was finished with the job. He said it would take 2 days maybe a little more, but they did it in one day! Their work was precise and extremely professional. The cleanup was very minimal. They covered and masked off everything. It looks like we have a new house. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and they will be the first ones I call if I need any more painting done. You may pay a bit more but considering the drama and loss of money we experienced from a cheaper painter, they are worth every penny! They exceeded our expectations. Hire them without hesitation!

Matt at Accent Painting was superb.   He was prompt about getting us a bid which was extremely reasonable for a 3000 square foot house.  The house in St. George is our second home and we were a bit worried about using someone while we were gone, but Matt's team was efficient, left our house clean with no tape or residue, and the job was excellent.   He got it done on budget and within the time frame he promised, although he was extremely busy.  In addition, he showed us some areas where we may want to re-dry wall due to problems from the former owner, but didn't push the issue when we weren't ready to fix it at that time.    He was recommended by a friend but even the paint store told me how good he was.  I would use him again anytime!
