I wish contractors would realize the small situations in the construction process, as it would save problems like this from the beginning. "George, I am so sorry that I fell short in all expectations, enough for you not to give me a 5-star rating. I know the quality of my work is much better than 80%. I would go up against and compare to anyone. I must have been within reason as to being low enough on the price to justify me getting the job. I know I communicated with you frequently, though there is always situations beyond my control. For example, manufacturer not supplying enough block to everyone fast enough, weather, etc. I explained things that you did not understand, as to why we did what we did, and I know in the long run you will appreciate me for the way that things turned out. You actually commented on how your neighbors have stopped by and said what a beautiful wall you have. All in all, I appreciate the work you gave me, though it really hit me hard as to why the rating wasn't better than it was. I don't always expect a 5.0* rating, but I strive for that daily. I really try very hard to do the very best work that I can possibly do, and I strive to make people happy in all aspects. I know I am not perfect, but if I were to do the math, I would have given myself at least or better than, 95% on quality, 100% on price, and 95% on customer service, which equals 96.67% value for the money, or a 4.83* rating. If there is anything I can do to make this better, or to do better in the future, by all means please tell me. I would love to try. Douglas J. Holt."
