As far as installation, everything went extremely well. No additional cost, no hiccups - the contractor stuck to the original bid amount. If I had selected another manufacture, the total cost of the unit's replacement would have been less, but I chose specifically American Standard - (Trane) - which is best in breed. I am an extremely meticulous person when it comes to buying consumer products, let alone major investments. I spent weeks and weeks researching on the internet, as well as brought in many different contractors to provide bids. Without a doubt, Triple T Plumbing, Heating and Air was the most thorough, knowledgeable, and cost conscious of all. One other company with good Angie's list credibility was in contention, but the cost savings with Triple T amounted to $1400 less than this candidate. The only difference was 13 SER vs. 14 SER in this price calculation - with all things being the same. Besides pricing, two things made me confident in regards to this company. First off, Jason, was the only person to do a thorough inspection of my attic infrastructure. He went up on my roof 3 times as well. He also proposed that I switch to gas for heating. Although this was recommended by one other company - it wasn't pushed as the "no brainer" option. When I told him I wanted American Standard, he immediately accommodated and got me a quote within minutes. The bottom line - I was impressed with not just his knowledge, but his overall approach to quality. I learned that as an example a $50-$60 tune-up is a joke when it comes to A/C maintenance. With that being said, the level of professionalism was great, and forthright from beginning to end. The only other thing I can add in regards to the review of this contractor, is INTEGRITY. Throughout the entire process, there was always an open transparency. Possible factors and contingencies were always discussed thoroughly. Triple T Plumbing, Heating and Air has been operating since the 1970s. It is a family owned and run business. Jason, who's father started the company, emphasized the importance of their reputation, and although he didn't come out and say it, my guess is honesty is a core value in their business approach. I recently moved to Utah just over two years ago and with little or no connections, only had Angie's list as a reference. I did my homework... and found one of the top notch contractors in Southern Utah for A/C.... My system is working great, and I couldn't be happier. Keep in mind, all research indicates THE INSTALLER / CONTRACTOR is the most critical component in regards to investing in a new A/C-heat unit.

They are very reliable and they charge in advance. In between when they come for an emergency, it?s free. That arrangement has been working pretty good. They can also come on a weekend. They also come when they said they would. They know their stuff well.

After reading the reviews on Angie's List about Triple T I took advantage of their Angie's List coupon for a furnace tune up. I was very pleased with the office staff who helped schedule the appointment and especially the service technician, Jason, who did the work. He was prompt, professional, and very thorough. He did a great job explaining and showing me my furnace unit and was up front about potential issues with my 13 year old furnace and gave me some recommendations. He recommended replacing a component but did not try to sell me it, but rather explained based on the age of the furnace and component the real possibility of it going out during the winter. The part added $88 to the coupon price, but I feel it was well worth the peace of mind. I appreciated the hands on feel that was provided and the good service Jason provided and his friendly nature. I will use Triple T again.

I called to complain and spoke with a guy named Jared and told him what had happened. He called me a liar and said that the girls never say that. He said the he sits next to them and listens to every phone call and they have never said it would be credited, I questioned his ability to listen to multiple phone calls at the same time. Long story short instead of correcting it he chose not to. I informed him we would never use him in the future. He asked my profession before saying that it was ok if we never used him. I sell and manage Real Estate, apparently owning multiple homes and flipping homes (some that need new furnaces) wasn't a big enough deal to him and let me see that they don't seem to be customer friendly unless it can really benefit him. He's now on our blacklist of service providers, by the way the list only has one business on it.
"I have contacted this client and explained our service fee process for technicians coming out to locations and accepted the responcibility that it is highly possible that our dispatchers may have communicated it improperally to the client. We have as well done some internal training in regards to all office staff due to this and continue to make improvements for not only ourselves but our clients.
