The service date above is only an estimation. I have had Swan's (they now have a change of name) clean my carpets and upholstery for nearly ten years. They have always done an excellent job, and recently have a very good basic price for the whole house. They took the area rug in my family room outside to clean, because it was on hardwood floors. Usually, it would have to be taken to their shop. I originally found them because I was searching for the cleaning system they use (Bridgepoint System?). I have a white, silk, damask sofa that I was worried about the possibility of yellowing or watermarking. I used a company in Las Vegas that used the same products, and had a very good result there. Swan's has cleaned my silk sofa, chintz fabric sofa, moire silk dining room chair seats, tapestry overstuffed chairs, and cotton-upholstered side chairs. Some have been cleaned two or more times. Every item has turned out very well. The carpets have always turned out great, and the technicians have been helpful and professional. The carpets have taken longer than two hours to dry, but were dry by the next day. I usually try to put a portable fan in the rooms, to make sure the air is moving. The humidity and temperature of the season has an effect, also. I have recommended Swan's to my friends and family.

This company was a little difficult to make connections with. The first time I called and made an appointment, they didn't come at all. Then they showed up 3 days later and I had an emergency and couldn't let them in. I called them back and left messages several times and finally made contact with them. This time, they came out on time and as agreed. The service person was friendly and clean cut. He tried very hard to do a good job but had a very difficult time cleaning our carpets which were only mildly soiled. He told me that the carpets would be dry in 4 hours but it was 2 days before they dried. Obviously, either the person or the equipment was a problem. I called after a day had gone by and the carpets were still wet and didn't get a return phone call from the owner. I don't think it is good to leave carpets saturated with water for 2 days and for that reason alone, I wouldn't have them clean my carpets again.
