Concrete Repair
The finish ended up being the worst finish I have ever seen on concrete.
Boot prints, really ugly rough sections, just a horrible finish. Water
runs into the building around the garage door when it rains,
meaning the slope of the concrete is going the wrong direction. Terrible. I
told them I was going to have it polished after they were done. When
they got done, I told them it was the worst concrete I have ever seen.
They said what does it matter if you are going to grind the floor
anyway? I told Gentry Boswell (the boss) I wanted it removed and redone and
he said I would be hearing from his lawyers.
They do not even understand the difference between polishing and
grinding concrete! Many of you might not understand the difference
either but they are supposed to be professionals. Lawyers fought it out
for more than 2 years, I ended up settling out of court. My stated costs
up to this point are about $ 13,000.00 between settling to get the lien
removed and legal fees and I still have a floor I have to have someone
tear out and then I still must pay someone else to pour a new floor. Ouch!
