From start to finish very pleased. Automated Rain was very competative in their bid. They started the job early and were here until completion. Happy with the finished product.

Wonderful experience. Automated Rain came out and gave us our fourth estimate. Their prices were fair. We were given a detailed estimate of what it owuld cost to have EVERYTHING done: rock wall, fence, sprinkler system install, top soil and sod. We were able to pick and choose what we could afford now, so we went with the rock wall (his prices were better than another two estimates we received), concrete slab and fencing.
They were very professional and good about explaining everything. After the fencing was installed, they took the time to show us how to maintain the gates (b/c over time the weight of the gate can change the latch holding it up making it hard to close and will need to be adjusted) and keep it clean. My kids enjoyed watching the install of the rock wall - which looks great and was done within one day. After the concrete was poured, we unfortunately had some disagreeable weather. They came all the way back to lay a tarp over it and protect it (it turned out fine) instead of calling us to have us to it - which I would have been happy to do. I think that says something about the quality of their work and service.
We will be using them again when spring rolls around for the top soil and sod install.

Doug met with us to review exactly what we wanted and indicated that building a waterfall is more art than science, but promised to provide the look we wanted by working with us through the process. He was a man of his word. As the waterfall evolved he kept us in the loop by including us in appearance and placement decisions along the way. More rock was added without hesitation at the end of the project to give the look we desired. The flower beds were done quickly and very professionally. They strongly compliment our house's appearance. We could not be more pleased with Automated Rain and would highly recommend their work.

Everything turned out fine. They are pretty reliable, but their prices are a little high. They did cut our cable lines while they were digging. I thought that was kind of careless. I might use them again if I can't find someone better.

I don't remember the total amount that they charged me. It was somewhere in the neighborhood of $5000. They were good. I will use their services again in the future.

Their price was good compared to another quote we got. They were very nice to work with and prompt and got the job done on time. They were willing to work with us on price and chopping the project into smaller pieces so we could do some this year and some next year. The only problems were: 1) Sprinkler coverage was initially poor - they needed to be adjusted to cover the entire lawn and then another head eventually needed to be added to a dying area that couldn't get coverage from the existing heads - we had to soak one part of the lawn to get enough water on another part of the lawn. Everything was warrantied though so the extra head was added for free. 2) The soil that the sod came in seemed to be clay-like - I'm not sure if that's bad or good, but it was more difficult to edge the lawn in the beginning and might have affected the watering issues as well.

We spent $9,000. Their follow through was good. They did good work. We will use this company again in the future.

Very professional, clean, and thorough. Picked up after themselves very well. Couldn't be happier although it did cost a fortune.
