Absolutely horrible experience. To start off, I didn't get to select my reservation time, only a preferred "morning/afternoon/evening" option. Then I had to call them the day before to confirm the time because no one contacted me from their company to schedule it. The day of, they contacted me to let me know that they were going to be 1.5 hours late (which I appreciated) because their morning job had run over, which made me slightly worried because I was paying for a truck rental and had limited time. However, they said they'd send 3-4 guys instead of just the 2 that I had reserved at no extra charge, so I was fine with it. Once they arrived, it took them 3.5 hours just to load the truck because they were moving so slowly. 3.5 hours with FOUR people! I noticed on several occasions that some of the guys would just be standing around not doing anything and they said it was because they were waiting for their boss to tell them what to do next. It also seemed like they'd huddle up after each piece of furniture was put into the truck to decide what piece to move next. After 2.5 hours, I had to step in and tell the guy in charge to focus ONLY on the furniture, not the boxes, because I knew we were getting short on time and I couldn't move the furniture by myself after they were gone. After all furniture was loaded, we drove to the final location and they started unpacking everything. They moved the boxes into the garage instead of into the house (not sure if that's typical or not) and moved the furniture into the house, but got all the bedroom furniture mixed up so the master bedroom has three dressers and a rocking chair, the baby's room has just a crib, and my other son's room has two bedside tables (mine) and no dresser. He asked me if I had already paid (he should have known that coming into it), which I confirmed I had, and so he asked me for some 6-digit payment code which I never received in the reservation. I believe that his wife had that information at home with the reservation, so I don't know why he couldn't just call her and get it, so he made me call some 1-888 number who electronically gave me that number so that he could type it in to some program on his phone. They ended up working for 6 hours when I only paid for 4, so at the end, the guy told me I had to pay for an additional 2 hours. I was furious. Not only had they been so incredibly slow loading, but he never once mentioned that we were at our time limit and asked if I wanted them to finish and pay an additional fee. I didn't have a check because they were packed (which they apparently don't accept anyway), he asked if I had cash, I said no. Then he asked me to find an ATM. Um, NO! Wouldn't take a credit card, so I finally ended up paying through Paypal just to get them out of my house. He then had the nerve to mention that I obviously still needed help the next day since we weren't even close to being done and that I could call them for help if we needed it. Thanks, but no thanks. Wouldn't call them again if I had to.
