After reviewing many providers of HVAC services, and collecting at least 7 estimates I was ultimately introduced to Taylor HVAC by one of my superiors at work. I called Glen who was incredibly responsive and provided a quick and professional estimate. He advised me on some nuances of HVAC and answered my questions regarding some of the other estimates that i had received.
I was quoted $3300 for a 13 SEER Lennox unit, coil and installation (running electricity line from north side of house, up and through attic and down to south side).
Glen, and his sons Jason and Ben showed up punctually, they were clean, polite, kept noise in the house to a minimum (i worked from home that day and had several conference calls), and got the work done quickly and efficiently. They are just a 3 person operation, with Glen's wife acting as the company secretary. Whilst Glen did say that they will come to houses and the homeowner might not be around, I had the option to be there, however after having them over i would trust them to be in my house without my being there.
Whilst they do specialize in HVAC they also do furnace installations, and service and repairs of both, I'll be using them from now on for anything, I feel confident that they'll do a great job, both in the quality of the work that they do, to the brands that they represent, to the price that they charge.
