Rick and his crew were first class. They were all very professional and extremely helpful.  They arrived on time and had everything and cleaned up in under 2 hrs.  Rick also assisted at no charge, to check the house water pressure and try and help me with our water softener.

We called and set up for the following wednesday unless something freed up, in which case they would call me and they did.  They were on time and did professional work.  After they finished the job and I paid him and he left he realized that he asked how I heard of them, I told him Angies list.  So he called me and told he would tear up the check and to send him another for $100.00 less since it was an Angie's list referral.  These guys are true pro's and not only have the right skills but integrity to boot.  Highly recommend them.

Upon calling to get an estimate of the cost to replace or repair PCV on my water line, he stopped by the house later that day to assess my situation and the type of PCV that I would need.  He said he would call back the next day once he had found the correct size of valve replacement.  After contacting the manufacturer and sales rep he was able to obtain the correct size to replace my PCV without doing a major plumbing refit or cutting a larger hole in my basement bedroom wall.  He recognized my desire to have minimal disruption to the bedroom wall.  Once he found the correctly sized replacement value, he called back and gave a firm price quote for the job.  Upon finishing the job at the agreed upon time, one day after I initially called, he gave me a $20 discount for mentioning Angie's List.  While this was less than the 15% discount coupon offered on Angie's List website, his bid was much less than the one other bid I had obtained; plus I did not specifically mention or print out the discount coupon.  All his work was performed professionally, he was helpful in meeting my needs, and I would use him again for plumbing work.

Rick not only replaced my broken kitchen fawcet but he updated some of my other connectors that were starting to deteriorate.  He was very thorough and totally cleaned up whatever mess resulted.  Rick is definitely on my A list for anything in the future my house requires!

Reached the owner after calling.  Over the phone, Rick, the owner, suggested resetting our garbage disposal after it did not work, asking me for the current disposal brand and number. The disposal started working for a few seconds, then died out.  I called other plumbing companies.  Some returned the calls or emails I sent out but they were perceived to be large companies with answering services.   We called R.G. Plumbing again.   Rick gave me the approximate price it would cost for a new garbage disposal and said he would send out his serviceman and make sure he had a new garbage disposal (another brand) on the truck. 
Dan arrived on time and replaced the disposal within an hour. After asking about what not to place in disposals, Dan gave us several tips on how to use them ....do not place citrus in it as it corrodes the mechanism and place ice cubes in it periodically to sharpen the blades.  
Excellent service and we will use this plumbing company again.

Based on previous reports from Angie's List members, I contacted RG Plumbing to receive a quote for installing a gas line for a gas stove. We scheduled a convenient time for both of us, and Rick showed up promptly for the appointment.I informed him about the renovations I was doing on my kitchen and inquired about installing a gas line to install a gas stove. He took measurements, checked out gas supply lines and expertly explained how my home needed updating on the supply lines in order to safely operate all my gas appliances. After some brainstorming, it was determined if I rerouted the gas supply line for the dryer to the location for the gas stove, everything would be OK without the high cost of new supply lines. Rick spent about an hour with me in preparing the quote (including a couple of other small plumbing issues). The price was a little higher than I expected, but I was impressed with his professionalism, and felt a lower price isn't always the best option.

We scheduled work for about a week later. Rick and his associate arrived promptly. Rick helped to start the work, and gave clear instructions to his associate as to all the work needing to be performed. Although Rick left for a time, his associate performed the work professionally and with knowledgeability.

After completion, I was satisfied with the work performed, and how quickly the job went.

ADDDED NOTE: Last week I inadvertently nailed into one of the capped off pipes when installing drywall. Even though Rick was in Idaho on vacation, he took my call and told me how I could cut and cap the pipe myself, thus saving me a Christmas Eve emergency plumbing service call. Thanks, Rick!

Excellent job.  Very fair price for time spent on complex job.  Would use their services again without hesitation.

They were here when they said they would be.  They did the job well.  It was good except for the cost.  Even the cost wasn't terrible because they did require two men to be here.  The workers were fine.

Rick was very accommodating when I first called and we were able to find a time that would work with both of our schedules.  The first day, they just came to look at what needed done.  They returned the second day and did the work in a timely manner.  Both men were courteous and knew what they were doing.  I am happy with my new faucet and I am no longer getting scorched by the shower.

He came very promptly. I've heard from friends that he's fair and reasonable. I can't imagine anyone charging less than he did. 

Rick came to our home about replacing our 11 year old water heater. He's obviously a pro who knows his business. Although $725 seems like an awful lot for a basic 40 gallon water heater, RG's price was right in line with other quotes we received. We scheduled a date for his helper to do the job because Rick was going out of town. When the day arrived, Dan was unable to make it which cost me more than a half-day off from my own job. We rescheduled for a few days later and the work was completed more-or-less satisfactorily and at the agreed-upon price. There are a few minor annoyances that didn't merit asking them to come back but would make me think twice about having RG do another job for us: 1. Clean up could have been better. I had to pick up boxes, wrappers, etc. The new water heater sits flush on the basement floor and has a chunk of the old retaining strap sticking out from underneath. 2. The new earthquake strap (for which Rick didn't charge me anything) is positioned so that it covers the instructions/information on the water heater. It's only a problem if you need those instructions to relight the pilot. 3. Dan used a thick black felt tip pen to autograph and date his work. A tacky move at best. At worst, I'll be thinking unkindly of him when I sell my home some years from now and the buyer wants me to cut the price because of my "old" water heater...

I had water leaking from my laundry room ceiling. Needing a plumber I found one on Angies List R.G. Plumbing. Dan from A.G Plumbing found a loose toilet on the 2nd Floor bathroom that had a leaking supply line and damaged wax seal. Dan fixed the supply line, replaced wax seal, and loose toilet

I have depended on Rick over the years for many different plumbing and heating needs I have had around the house and I can say without doubt that he is fantastic. He is prompt, very courteous, and will always call me back with an answer to a question I might have about my plumbing. He even called me back from the ski slopes on vacation because I needed help. I wouldn t use another plumber and I advise anyone reading this to do the same.

I showed the plumber what our problem was and explained what I thought should be done to fix it. Very politely he suggested another way to solve the problem that was much easier and cheaper, to which I quickly (and gratefully) agreed. He completed the work very quickly and efficiently and was extremely pleasant. It was a great experience to have him work for us.

Responded quickly when called, did job professionally. Worker was very pleasant.

He is very honest about what the risks might be with the job. He let me make the decision as to what we want to do. He is also very neat. He cleans up after himself. Everything they have done has stayed fixed.
