Jerry is great. His business is thriving, which translates to hes a very busy contractor. His employees, Jose and the gang, are polite and easy to have in and out of the house. They were even nice to the kids! The kitchen, which is large, was pretty much completed in a day. Pretty much, being the key. 4 weeks later, he came back to allow me to reinstall my gas rangetop and main kitchen faucet. Because the faucet was out, the dishwasher was out. Since the range top was out, we were cooking on the Coleman camping stove for a month set up on the counter. I started out using plastic/paper dishware and gave up after a week. I was washing dishes in the bar/prep sink for the month. I will say Jerry seemed apologetic but it wasnt getting the job done. He said he'd be back the next day to get the faucet drilled but... couldnt make it. At that point I wanted to have them come and finish not just fix the sink. Maybe its just me and maybe I dont know what to expect. My house was dusty and reeked of resin. I will just warn you, since they didnt, take everything out of the drawers and cabinets. The cabinet bases were modified, ie sawed, to fit the new sinks so sawdust was in every drawer and cabinet base and all over the items in there. On the upside, I threw a lot out and put new contact paper down and it looks even better but... what a hassle. The price was as quoted and fair. Rather than buy another slab he had a great selection of in house remnants I could choose from for a few small sinks and save $. The job really looks GREAT. They did a great job with the 45 degree mitered edge and matching the pattern of granite. Stupendous! Was it worth the 4 week wait, mess and inconvenience? Sounds stupid, but yes. I thought Jerry was up front on cost, his estimate was as quoted, he stayed in communication... even if I had to initiate. Its hard to find contractors that come in on budget, dont haggle to find new expenses and rather than rush through a job do a great job THEY are proud of. I felt Jerry and the crew were out to do a good job for me. I'll take it. A few caveats and I hope you will too!
