About us
Divine Construction is a full service luxury home builder in Southern Utah which includes your own personal experience with not only a well known general contractor but his team including his custom exterior and interior designer and team of subcontractors. As a small business we know that loyalty and integrity help build a team we can rely on and trust. Over the years we have sculpted an amazing team that have incredible talent and value their work and our business relationship which means we are very competitive with large scale builders and can give you comparable pricing with our “standards” that large scale builders call “upgrades”. A beautiful home starts with smart selections made during the construction of your home our designer will help ensure you make all the right selections which often include flooring, cabinets, countertops, bath & kitchen fixtures, hardware, tile, lighting, moldings and paint, exterior design including rock, stucco, roofing, landscape design and more. We specialize in building Luxury estates, custom homes, affordable homes, and investments which allows us to take care of our families whether they want the best of the best or wish to keep it simple but elegant. We meet one on one with our clients and have created lasting impressions that have turned into friendships. We won’t send someone different to meet every time or one of our supervisors. You will meet with Craig Winder the builder himself in regards to all aspects of the build of your home with a direct line to his cell phone for any questions you may have at any time. We understand how much thought and excitement goes in to building your dream home and we are just as excited to be involved in the process as you are.

Filter reviews by service
1. Tile cracking all over my house
2. Looked me in the eye and told me a 6 foot doorway and an 8 foot doorway were the same width
3. Built a cabinet unit with an opening for a refrigerator then when the power was insufficient stated that the refrigerator-sized opening was never intended to actually house a refrigerator (just a random large vertical rectangular hole I suppose!)
4. Completely dodged us when our 1 year warranty items came due
5. Terrible repair job of his own screw up after water damaged the threshold to the master bedroom
6. Put ornamental garage door handles on that are both asymmetrical and were too close to the overhang so they gauged the wood. Blamed the garage door people...
7. Cheap wood varnish on front door is already flaking off
8. Built a kitchen with an opening for an odd-sized refrigerator that was impossible to find... we ended up having to pay for cabinets to fill in part of the space
9. Half the door handles in the house were loose within a few months
10. Carpet poorly glued/tacked down... "our fault" apparently
11. Gaps in bathroom caulking that resulted in water draining through to downstairs light fixtures... blamed our kids for being messy shower-takers
12. Did an equally shoddy job for our neighbor and has been banned from building in the entire development
Many more items too numerous to list here. I will happily justify this entire list and more with pictures and further descriptions. Feel free to email me at [email protected] for more details.
