Gary was great about accommodating our tight schedule since we had a short inspection period. The day he came to do the inspection followed the night where water from a radiator had been been leaking onto the hardwood floors for the past 3 days after the seller's property management company turned the water back on to de-winterize the property. We're still in the process of waiting for the seller to decide how they will remedy the property, but it was great that Gary went ahead with the inspection while the water had then been turned off and then waited for it to be turned on again a few hours later when the water to the boiler could be shut off first. The house is just over 4,000 sq ft and took quite a bit of time, especially with all the other chaos, and Gary ended up spending about 5 hours there. He initially quoted a price of $350, which seemed reasonable to me, and I was extremely happy that he didn't charge any extra for being there much longer than originally anticipated. Although he doesn't take credit cards, he was nice enough to drive back downtown the next day to pick up my payment since I didn't have cash or check with me at the time of inspection. He also delivered a hard copy of the inspection report at that time and even before that emailed me a copy so I could get it to our real estate agent right away. Gary was also very pleasant to work with and very personable. I appreciated his commitment to service and would recommend him.

He was prompt, on time, returned all phone calls immediately. At the inspection, he involved my son in involving him in all things he was inspecting and was thorough. Called me after inspection was done to discuss results. It was a great experience. There was a bit of an extra charge for coming from Salt Lake City but that is understandable.

Gary Reich is a very particular in his work. He did an outstanding job of identifying many things in the house I did not even know could become problems. He also had suggestions for economical ways to both fix existing problems and avoid many potential problems. He was also very professional.
Description of Work: Gary Reich inspected a home I was in the process of buying.
