Stanley Steemer

Are you steadily steamer today for air duct cleaning. Came home to find items missing from my home when I called of course they couldn't find the area manager and when they did he said he would call me tomorrow.. I would think with a company gets accused of theft he would have called me right away but that's not the case do not use this company. Because your items might end up being stolen also. I don't expect my items to be returned or found but who steals a curtain rod. If that's the case maybe ought to pay her employees a little bit more and do a better background check on them this company sucks.

Paid a large amount to have 14 ducts cleaned, they bring in a ton of equipment, make you sign a lot of paperwork at various times and it takes a couple of hours. I'm mentioning this to demonstrate that it is a huge inconvenience. After they left I realized that they missed a duct! Called them and they told me I have 2 choices: 1-have them come back in (all the equipment moved in and out of the house, again!) or 2-take a refund of $20 (which negates the initial cleaning because I still have a dirty duct!). When I explained the huge inconvenience of having them com back, "Marquee" didn't seem to care and reminded me that I signed all the paperwork....which means, what? That one of the many things I signed gives them the right to either uproot my life another day or be scammed out of hundreds of dollars when they didn't do the job they promised. I wasn't mad at first, but the condescending tone of the service operator didn't help and the two (and only two) choices were unsatisfactory. Don't fall for these guys and their sales pitch, it's a scam. Canceled my carpet cleaning appointment, It’s not worth the potential problems.

They always do a good job and don't pressure me into upselling. They gave me a bid that was much less expensive that I expected. They are certified by an American Allergy

the provider arrived promptly, moved furniture as needed, and did a very good job. the carpeting looked great when they left. furniture was replaced on foam blocks to hasten drying.

I was not impressed at all with Stanley Steamer. The carpets were sooo wet when the cleaner left and he was finished so quick it didn't seem he really even cleaned them. We had to get them cleaned again.

I tried to take advantage of their $99/3 rooms deal. When they arrived they declared that they could not honor the deal for that price, and continued to up sell my on various additional services. Upon completion of the service, the carpets were beyond damp and remained so for several days, which is unacceptable. Needless to say I was not satisfied, and will not be using them again in the future.

They did a pretty good job, they're probably about standard pricing. I'll probably look for someone else first, before going back and using their services again.

I liked how they did the work. I would use them again.

I heard that they were good, but they left one carpet that we had in a particular area and it took about 3 days for it to dry, so we tried the dry carpet cleaning.

Prompt, efficient and hard working. I bought the yearly service plan. If they make a mistake, they fix it. I recommend these guys to everyone who asks for a carpet cleaner.

I called them up and they came out within a few hours, which is pretty good. They did good work, had lines of communication open all the time, and we were very pleased with their service.

My experience with them was good. They always have great specials which is really nice. Their pricing is great. I like the fact that they do background checks of their employees. If you get a crew that you are more comfortable with, then you can ask for them. That is nice. They do a nice job. They don't use all these chemicals or soaps into your carpets. They use hot water and they have a pet odor treatment that really does help. Overall they have everything that you would want for a good price. They are trustworthy and reliable. I like them. They come out the same day and they are on time. They will call you about half an hour before so that you can get home to meet them there. They are nice.

I used them and it was a great experience as usual.

I have to admit, I've been a little disappointed in the Angie's list help I've called up to this point. Until today.

I called Stanley Steemer at 4:30pm, asking a price and how long it would take. They gave me a direct quote, and said, "We can be there between now, and 6pm." I said, "sure!"

He told me that they would call my cell phone before they came out. Instead they called my home phone, and I wasn't there. I headed out to the rental home, which took :40 minutes from my work. They were already there vacuuming the first carpets.

They had 2 younger, clean cut, professionally dressed, "local boy", (who spoke native English) carpet cleaners who were efficient, polite, knowledgeable, and got right to work. I had one room that had a lot of tobacco smell in it. I paid extra for room deodorizer, and they even put some of it in the hall, next to that room at no charge. The smell was pretty bad, so I may have them come back on their 10 day guarantee.

The only 2 things they could have done better was, call my cell phone and let me know, instead of my home phone. (small mistake), and when they were done, they left a large puddle of water on the driveway.

Other than that, I've always been impressed with Stanley Steemer. I'll recommend them any day.

Update: I did have Stanley Steemer come back and add more deodorizer to the carpet. They sprayed a bunch more stuff on the carpet, told us to keep the doors and windows shut (so the stuff could work on the stinky carpet). 2 days after that, the hardwood floors began to buckle because of the moisture. [I thought, uh, oh... gunna have to change my Angie's list report]. To their credit, they came out with fans and de-humidifiers. Let them sit for 2 days, lifted the carpets, fixed the buckled hardwood floors, (and even helped a lady load 2 TVs in to her vehicle). And, the carpet stink is gone.

I can't say enough about this company! Sign me up for the Stanley Steemer fan club!

They were very professional. I thought it was pricey but I guess for what they do it is fine. I have them scheduled to come again.

Carpets seemed pretty clean but they charged I though too much for cleaning the tile in the bathroom, it took like 5 minutes and charged 35 dollars for it.

I scheduled via the Internet link which was really easy. I entered the spaces that I wanted cleaned on the Internet site, but since I forgot to include 2 areas, the in person estimate was higher than my original estimate. I didn't consider this a problem since the mistake was mine. I still felt the estimate was fair. They called to come earlier than scheduled, so very timely. Work was very organized and coordinated. I liked that they protected doors and corners so there was no dragging hoses against the walls. The workers were very professional, they explained charges and procedures completely and then did exactly what they said they would.

Other than it was a ton of money, I have to say it all went well. I usually get creeped out to have any service people in the house but the air duct guys were clean, polite and explained everything that they were doing.

They were efficient, they did it in a timely manner. They did try to sell us some vacuuming equipment, which i thought was silly. I would recommend them to others, they were very flexible. They did a really good job.

I have used Stanley Steemer for carpet cleaning three times and for air duct cleaning once. The first two times I was satisfied with their work and professionalism. They clean up after themselves nicely and do a good job. Their work is somewhat more expensive than budget cleaners, but I have always felt the work is worth it.
