They did beautiful work and it drains just like they said it would. They were very professional and accomodating. We would hire them again without hesitation.

Paul from Savage met with me at my parents home to give a bid on replacing a old driveway that I was paying for.  Paul offered some great suggestions and offered an immediate bid that was very detailed; bid was a little higher than 3 other bids I had received from other reputable contractors.  Paul was willing to come down in price a little, but not to the lowest bid.  I knew Savage had a good reputation and I needed the driveway installed within a week to avoid some predicted very cold temperatures or I would elect to wait until spring to ensure quality concrete conditions.  Paul moved some things around on their schedule to slide this relatively smaller job in to the needed timeline.  Work started and completed as promised and in a professional manner - finish work was excellent!  The only small issue experienced was night temps fell much lower than expected or forecasted on the first night of the cement pour. Blankets were needed and were supplied; blankets supplied had a lot of holes and tears - very poor. 

Overall, I would rate Savage as an "A", but after multiple requests for a paid receipt (after sending them payment), they haven't returned my multiple requests ( email, phone and text) for a paid receipt for the work done?   It is possible the company takes this time of year off ( off-season), but they still should return messages in the off-season. Again, I'm  pleased with quality and timeliness of work done.  If I do received a receipt in the next couple of weeks, I'll provide updated review to reflect rate Savage as an "A".

Savage Const. was very professional and responsive to various unique requirements on this job. They stayed precisely on schedule and finished on time. The finishers, foreman and manager were all friendly, hard workers. I got exactly what I wanted at a very fair price (not the low bid, but very close). Some of their suggested changes to my original plan resulted in an obvious improvement in the final product. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

Replaced the concrete entrance to our driveway. We were desperate as my daughter's reception was approaching and we had another contractor fall through. Worked with Paul who initially didn't think they could complete the work, but kept in touch with us and called as soon as they had an opening. Did beautiful work, followed up to make sure we were satisfied, then charged a very fair price below what I thought it would cost. Could have really charged anything they wanted given our circumstances. Extremely impressed with every aspect of their work.

After two winters the driveway started to chip. I did not use any ice melt because they told me not to the first winter. They recommended using an ice melt after the first winter. They came to "repair" it, but it just chipped back off. The same person came for the repair and told me they had found out the ice melt they had recommended could not be used because of a particular ingredient had been found to cause chipping. After that I did not use any ice melt product, but the driveway kept chipping away. After Savage put me off for more than a year with various excuses as to why they couldn't repair the damage (e.g. big job in Park City, numerous staff funerals), I went to the Better Business Bureau. Savage said my warranty period had expired and they were not obligated to fix the damage. How convenient for them.

They show up on time. I have used them more than once and I would continue to use them.

They did a great job for us. It included a 5 inch thick slab with rebar reinforcement. We had some waste concrete there that they cleaned up. They did all of the forming and sub grade preparation. The area is about 18 ft. by 10 ft. which isn't a small area but they did a nice job with it. They covered it because it was during freezing weather and were very professional.

The estimator was very prompt and courteous. Initial contact was made at home improvement show. I obtained three different contractor quotes. Savage Construction was selected for price, professionalism of estimator, and high volume of tear-out and replace jobs they do. Showed up when scheduled. Worked quickly and maintained clean work site. They were careful not to damage existing landscape and adjacent walkways. The job was complete in three days. The driveway looked good upon completion in the summer of 2007. However, by early spring 2008, the driveway exhibited excessive spalling and surface damage that appeared to be the result of inferior quality concrete. Numerous calls to the company have not been returned. A company representative visited once, unannounced and left a card on the door. However, no follow-up was made, even after several messages were left with a company employee. A neighbor that used Savage Construction during the same time period has experienced the same concrete damage and has expressed similar dissatisfaction.

Came out to my house to do a free estimate and tell me what I needed he was polite and informative. When they came out to do the job it was done very quickly. They were very professional and did a great job.

The gentleman gave me a quote and then he came back to give me a second quote when we changed our plan. The crew arrived on time on the day we were told they would be there. The job was finished on time. The crew was careful to avoid any lawn damage.

They were great. They did an excellent job. They even came out and did all the work in one day. I didn't have to clean up anything after they left either. They were very neat. I am very pleased with the work they did.
