Excellent. He knows what he is doing. He works quickly, is efficient, and even does follow up calls to ensure everything is still working fine.

On the first visit, MItchell wanted an overall view of all the work I wanted done so we toured my home as I pointed out the jobs I wanted done over time and the ones I wanted done immediately. His response to some of those jobs was , "I would just leave it like that if I were you". He said this as I pointed out the caulking pulling away from the window/wall around my vinyl kitchen window. He said that about some base board I wanted replaced because of water damage. Mr Mitchell would only work when I was absent from my home and, because a co-worked had referred me to him I trusted him, I sadly allowed this twice. He charged me for 2 hours work each time at $65/hour. He caulked halfway down the inner corners of my bathtub surround and told me that's how everyone does it. His caulking around the tub was such a small line that it was already pulling away from the surface. The line of caulk down the wall, (halfway down only) was thick and wide by contrast. The mudding he did on my walls did not cover the damaged areas and actually created more damage. The work around by window wells in the basement was careless and uneven as well. When I called to discuss this with Mr Mitchell, he immediately said he does work in homes that are mansions compared to mine and no one has ever complained about his work before (allegedly in Park City and Deer Valley, Utah). He continued this attack until I inerrupted to say it looked like a blind person did this work and I thought his vision was impaired or that he was in a hurry and wasn't attentive to detail. I also told him I could allow him in my home alone and he said no one else had ever said that to him. I told him I could not afford his hourly charge at the rate ot 2 hours per week. He said that was how he charged. (by the hour and not by the job) Overall, Mr Mitchell seemed like someone with attention deficit disorder who didn't focus on on e thing for very long. I am needing to pay someone else to the do the work I was hoping to have completed before Christmas last year. I hate to put this in writing for Angie's list subscribers, but DON'T EVER LET THIS MAN IN YOUR HOME.
