Where it says, would you hire this company again, they need a 'H***, yeah!' as an answer. I would hire Steve to do ANYTHING in my home.   While Steve is a homebuilder (he built the home of friends of ours), he was thrilled to take on our 'little' project. When the one bathroom morphed into two, no problem. When that morphed into more plumbing and other projects, no problem. His crew is professional - this I know because I telecommute and I was HERE all day every day while they worked.  They put sticky plastic down on my new carpet so as not to get it dirty.  They were quiet when I needed quiet time for a conference call.  They came and asked me questions when things came up, and always did what I asked them to do.  When shutting on and off the main water caused all my faucets to clog up, Steve himself came and cleaned them out.  And they don't use illegal labor. Most importantly, they just always did what they said they were going to do, showed up when they said they would show up, from the demolition team to the painters to the shower door people.  It's not that there wasn't the occasional hiccup (needed more of one kind of tile, one shower door was cut 1/2 inch too large), it's that when the problems came up they addressed them IMMEDIATELY. I will say they're not 100% done.  The electrician is coming back to finish the lights and outlets, and they'll need to do a bit of touch-up paint once the final backsplash tiles go in next week.  But the bathrooms are BEAUTIFUL and so well-finished that I simply can't say enough. I had two bids for this project, which were nearly identical in price.  Steve's allowances were higher, and i had the recommendation of friends.  Any overage in price is because I chose more expensive finishes and tile, not because of anything that 'oops, this came up and we're going to have to charge you more for it'.  That didn't happen. Ever. Oh yeah, and he gave us 2 Steve Dailey Construction sweatshirts at the end so we can be 'one of the guys'!  What more could I want? You would make NO mistake in hiring Steve Dailey.
