Char and her team were superb! Char’s professionalism, her attention to details, and her determination to create a great product for us as customers was incredibly evident. She has a team with her that has a special relationship of support and trust, and her team’s craftsmanship, and sincere efforts are easy to see in the finished products: basement remodel and two bathrooms. We are left feeling very satisfied, most likely for years to come. I have dealt with other contractors and construction workers in the past and had many bad experiences. Char is someone I hope to hire again!

Char was amazing to work with and I would hire her again! She communicated often and clearly. Her invoices were very detailed. She was flexible and fit in some additional work that we needed done. Our other bathroom and kitchen had some issues unrelated to the remodel and she helped us out big time so we didn’t have to wait or find someone else! And the work done by Angel and Angel was so good! The tile work was laid out perfectly. They had good suggestions to improve the outcome. I love my new bathroom! Char and her team finished our complete bathroom remodel in March of 2024 and it turned out even better than we had imagined. The remodel included making the shower bigger, moving a wall and enclosing the water closet. Of particular note the tile work by Oscar was perfect. Char and her team gave us excellent advice when we needed to make decisions. The end result was amazing! Highly recommend.

We had a great experience working with North American Construction. Char was fantastic- very attentive, detail-oriented, didn’t take short-cuts, had good follow through, communicated often with us. We love our new kitchen. This was our first major renovation, and we were indecisive about a lot of things - Char was patient and helped guide us through all the decisions. She gave us very personalized attention. Her crew of workers were efficient and I felt comfortable having them in my home. Very good experience- would highly recommend!

I finally got my dream bathroom and I could not Thank Char and her crew enough! I did not know where to begin since this was an old house and needed so much done. Char made the entire process less stressful by dealing with the plumber, electrician and making sure everything was running smoothly. I would definitely be calling them back for my future projects.

I was thrilled with the job! I got my dream kitchen and made friends with Char, Angel and Oscar. It was the largest by far job I have paid to be done in my home, and am already planning on future projects with them now. I found my contractor and sticking with them! A big plus is they were good with my dogs and kids.

Char, Angel and the rest of the team were great to work with. They â held my handâ through the whole process and made it easy to do. I was working within a budget and they helped make suggestions on how to save money while not cutting corners. This was a full main level remodel that included kitchen, living room, bathroom and two kids rooms. Bamboo flooring, cabinets, wainscoting, countertops and much more. I will definitely hire them again when I do the remodel on my master bedroom and master bath.

We hired this company to remodel our kitchen/main floor, and patch drywall in the basement after we had water damage. The work included new flooring and baseboards, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, lighting, new electrical, drywall, and plumbing. When we hired Char we expected that she would manage the project and keep things on schedule. We also expected professional work. She seemed great at first, but that quickly changed. We had major problems with every aspect of the project, and she would try to talk her way out of it, or pass the buck to Angel, who managed the workmen, and did some of the work himself. First, they installed our flooring incorrectly and had to rip it up and redo it twice. Now, 6 months after completion we have big gaps in the floor boards and have to hire someone else to come fix it. They neglected to put down any kind of covering on the new flooring and the electrician scratched the floor and left the house a complete disaster. It took us several hours to clean up after him. Cabinet install was shoddy. 2 of our base cabinets are crooked and don't line up with the countertop. They also refused to cut the base cabinet for the apron front sink, so we had to do that ourselves. Cabinet pulls are installed off center, outlets and covers won't sit flat because the backsplash tile is not flush. The baseboards were a NIGHTMARE! We have bullnose corners and the guy they sent did not know how to cut the angles. He finished the whole project in about 3 hours and it looked awful. There were 1/4-1/2 inch gaps between the angles. Char said they could just fill those in with caulk and it wouldn't be a problem...I don't think so! An amateur DIYer could have done better. We had to stop payment on a check until they had someone else come fix it. They had to rip out all of the baseboards and redo the whole project. We also never knew who would show up to our house, and when. It seems like they hire random people piece-meal, which is not what we expected. For example, 2 guys showed up to install carpet, but we had no idea they were coming. We had to quickly move all of the furniture so they could complete the job. While we were moving furniture, one of the guys (dirty and sweaty) plopped down on our sofa and made himself comfortable. Then he demanded payment when they were done. I had to call Char, and she passed the buck to Angel. They left the old carpet and debris on our front lawn and took off. We had many other issues, this is just a few of them. We were told the project would be complete in 3 weeks, and at 5 weeks we hired our own plumber to come finish the work. Partly because we were sick of waiting for Char, and partly because we didn't trust they would do a good job. When we would bring something up that they had overlooked she would say "Oh, that's not a big deal. You can just do that yourself". Overall, Char talks a good game, but don't believe it! Hiring them might be the single biggest regret of my lifetime.

We had North American Construction do a remodel and upgrade of our kitchen, living area and bathroom before we listed it to be sold. We had a load-bearing wall taken down between the kitchen and living room, which they had engineered. They were there every day, the workers were efficient, courteous, and cleaned up at the end of the day. They found that our roof had been leaking and we had a rotten subfloor and drywall next to the wall between the kitchen and family room. We had them replace part of the roof. Then we decided to replace all the floor on the main level. They repaired the drywall and subfloor that was damaged very reasonably and installed all new vinyl planking. Char helped us pick out cabinets, flooring, granite, plumbing fixtures that were reasonably priced but look great. She made sure all the materials were ready for installation when Angel and the crew needed them. We made some changes as we went along and there were a few unexpected things - but that seems to be normal in remodeling. We sold the house within a week of listing .. there were a few offers on it and it sold above the asking price. We have now moved and are very happy with our decision to use North American Const. I'll recommend them to anybody.

NAC was very easy to work with. We have older house that we were trying to fit a bathroom into small place. Char and Angel helped us to creatively make it all work. We had several men work on the project and everyone did a professional job. It turned out beautiful.

We were very happy with the work this company did installing a basement bathroom. Char was very pleasant to work with. She kept us informed when things were going to happen and very prompt to answer us when we had questions. We would certainly contact them again.

I am so glad I hired North American Construction to take out the wall that separates our kitchen and family room! I ve wanted to get rid of that wall ever since we bought our house 5 years ago. I should have hired Char then 😂! Honestly I couldn t be happier! The results are amazing. Instead of an obtrusive wall I have a big, beautiful island. Our family loves spending time in the kitchen now! They had our wall engineered and put in a beautiful wood support beam. They tore out the carpet and put in gorgeous laminate flooring throughout. We also had them remodel our hallway bathroom. I now have a large soaker tub, marble tile walls and a new vanity. It s so classy! Love these guys! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All the way!

Think about how it would feel to give thousands of dollars to someone you hate. That is likely how you will feel, and how I felt as I wrote them their last check wishing to never cross paths with anyone from this company again. This company is a train wreck. It is difficult to put into words all of the ways that I feel that I have been wronged as they are nearly innumerable. North American Construction (NAC) is right up at the top of the list of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with in my life. Charâ s favorite phrase: That will be another $100. I wonder if she had healthcare experience because she sure has their pricing model down to a science. They start work and buy things and then claim it wasnâ t part of the initial quote and that it will be extra money. Obviously you have no choice since they will put a lien on your property, and of course the extra work has been done and the extra items have been bought. Itâ s amazing how fast all the extra charges add up. Robert (Bob) Oyler is a smooth talker and a great salesman. I like to think that I am smarter than the average salesmen and that I can see through their sales pitches. I have to admit that I got smooth talked and I fell for his pitch. I really liked Bob the first time that I met him and I thought that he really had the experience that he claimed and that we would be in good hands. If onlyâ ¦. Once you sign the contract you will likely never see Bob again. We were handed over to his wife, Char, who is the project manager. I had thought one of the reasons to hire a general contractor was so I didnâ t have to babysit people. Once the project was getting started and mistakes were being made frequently, I always felt that I had to be supervising their crew to make sure they werenâ t making any more mistakes. NAC has too many levels of bureaucracy. The project manager, Char, isnâ t doing any of the construction work had doesnâ t seem to understand it very well so there is a lot of miscommunication or no communication at all. Miguel Angel, who speaks English great and should be the one in charge of everything, is the guy in charge of the crew that does most of the work and he also isnâ t there much so he passes the information down to another level of inexperienced workers who lack critical thinking skills and common sense. Since Char isnâ t really needed in this operation she doesnâ t seem to allow any of the workers to call us directly, since how else would she justify her large fee? In addition to a kitchen remodel, we asked for a quote to install a new laminate floor after the kitchen work had already started. The quote that we received was almost laughably inflated to the point where I almost though it was a typo. We had the floor done by another contractor for a sizable sum less. Do you want a kitchen sink installed correctly? Thatâ ll be an additional $100. Do you want your countertops installed correctly? That will be an additional $100. Pictured below: The fridge water line was routed through our bedroom and the electrical outlets were mismatched colors. Just a few examples of things that they thought we asked for that I would have never wanted. They ended up fixing these things, but it was like pulling teeth.

Ii am pleased with the expertise of the team. work on my project will begin in earnest in the next couple of days. I do not expect to be disappointed. Yvonne D.

Met with Bob to start the process of a kitchen remodel. He was very informative and explained several things I had not thought about on the remodel. He seems to have a strong team of people to cover every aspect of the job. I'm looking forward to working with them.

Overall, the job was pretty well done and we are very pleased with the end product. The new showers (the main reason for the project) are especially nice. Small glitches were fixed and attended to. Bob even came back after the project was done and paid for to fix an issue that developed with one of the bathroom sinks. Communication, however, was a big issue - not everyone (i.e. the workers) knew what's going on or what the contract even called for. Even when things were pointed out, they didn't always get done in a timely manner. I don't know if it is normal to take almost 3 months to renovate two and a half bathrooms, but it seemed like it took too long. A good job, but there were small details that were annoying.

Met with Bob for a quote on one item and plan on setting up work for a full remodel and upgrade! Looking forward to working with this fully rounded team on my entire home.

Bob, the owner cancer to give us a quote. He was at our home a couple of hours, kindly helped fix a small issue with our freezer. That being said, the experience was strange. I felt uncomfortable around him, he insulted my husband, although sarcastically several times. I didn't feel he was professional. At the end of his visit, we had a price sheet of averages to finish s basement ranging from $50-120k. If we wanted a detailed estimate, we needed to pay a fee of $200 I think & have his main contractor give us the "free estimate". We went with another company. We wish Bob well though!

Absolutely amazing! They did both a basement apartment for me and my bathrooms. I would recommend them to anybody. They work with integrity, are fair and honest, and truly care about quality
