MORNING SUN TREE SERVICE

At first I was very impressed with the service. Preston (a Morning Star Arborist) came to my mothers home & did an evaluation. We paid him for gas since my mother lives 45 mins west of SLC. He gave us the estimate and said that 'cabling' one of the trees was the highest priority but the cable would have to be ordered (which he said he would do). The workers came out and did the labor required (pruning and shredding....the trees looked great). We - unfortunately -paid for all the work (including the cable that supposedly was on back order). This work was done in August 2007. It is now May 2008 and despite numerous phone calls to Preston from not only myself but my mother as well we are still getting the run around as to why this cable has not been installed. There has been no apology, no refund of money for the work that was not done, NOTHING but excuses; still on back order (come one, it is May 2008), gas prices have risen so it would be more expensive to come out to my mothers to finish the work (not my problem......if they had done the work in August 2007 gas prices wouldn't be an issue). I am extremely dissatisfied with the way Morning Star does business. It is a disgrace they take advantage of people who put their trust in someones word.

We hired Morning Sun to remove three trees in our yard. We felt that work was way too overpriced. They did clean up behind themselves, which was great. We would not recommend to anyone else.
