LMS Builders, Inc

Lee Schwartz aka LMS Builders is a person who is skilled in letting you think that he will do the best work, tells you that is why he is a little more expensive than other Contractors. Not So. He was to finish this work April 1, 2012. We were to list our home for sale at that time. On may 15 appr., he left the job we had already paid him for undone. We had to quickly have three very capable young men finish the job. We did not get our home on the market until the end of May, 2 months after prime selling time. For the first three months, he was on his best behavior. Then he began altering the Change Orders to include additional charges which we never discussed with him. As he knew, we were very busy, George being out of town most often. That is when he would badger Donna to sign the Change Orders, sometimes following her around with a pen and the Order when she was talking with friends and neighbors; hiring substandard subs, like the Landscaper, who totally botched our patio job. Lee Schwartz would not fix it. He and his subs poured chemicals into our gardens; Lee would not fix it. He would not put up the lights that he was Contracted to do; he would not fix the Garage Door Lock that he damaged while taking it out for painting. His Painter left the job undone; Lee would not finish it. It was a Nightmare! If you want a competent Contractor, join Angie's List. After the fact, unfortunately, we hired a Plumber, Electrician and Pool Repair Company from reviews on Angie's List, and all were very competent and reasonably priced. You will not find LMS Builders on Angieslist, that is, until I post my review, within the next couple of days. This has been a learning experience, but at a great price, in hours and dollars. We have a thriving Business and time is $$$$, so we can say it cost us alot of money; but we are exposing this incompetent, mean guy so that others do not suffer the same fate.
