Jay's Total Flooring

Jay installed vinyl flooring throughout my house in November 2017. He gave me a price, not an estimate and then he jacked the price up by about 800.00. I always thought if you priced something wrong, you ate the difference. The vinyl kept coming up. I sent him texts and he came and glued it down with a hot glue gun. He told me I could fix it myself in the future with a regular glue gun. In January I sent him a text to have him fix a hole I put in the floor accidentally. I told him I’d pay him to fix it. He said he was out of town for a week. On 2/14/18 I sent a text. He said he was out of the country till 2/26/18 and he would make contact with me when he got home. He never did. 5/23/18 I sent a text asking when he could fix that issue and fix more flooring that was splitting and coming up. He wanted to come that Friday when I wasn’t going to be home. Not being home wasn’t an issue except for wanting to be there to show him what needed to be repaired. I said no to coming that day and asked if he could come the following Tuesday or Thursday before I left for vacation. He never got back to me. I left a text that Tuesday sarcastically saying hey thanks for not calling me back. I haven’t heard anything and he blocked me from giving a review on Facebook. If Jay would come fix the flooring, I would give a more positive review.
