This has been a nighmare. This agent moved into the home with my ex-husband, (this is joint property), took over my furniture that was left to help stage the home, after talking him into firing our nephew as the real estate agent and using her instead. She claimed to have a better marketing plan. Her plan was to add additional fees for "consultation" as she wanted us to put up $40K to let her work with contractors and remodel the home, as well as lower the price. The home is stunning, it is a french normady, turret staircase style. She wanted to add all contemporary bathrooms and a 3rd family room/theatre, so it would sell faster (?). We still have no fact sheets or brochures, the on-line photos are older and many have been lifted from our previous agent's site. It took 4 weeks to relist the home which lost a lot of marketing time during the best home sale season. I feel that she is not trustworthy and would not recommend that anyone I knew use her. The fact that she had no signs and had to order them is suspect. She has also shown several real estate companies that she has worked for, but none have direct access to her.
