Firsly, I called, left a message Tuesday and Todd returned my call that evening.  This was during the very busy sprinkler repair season. We were having sprinkler issues at two locations. He said he would be by Thursday morning at 7. He was here early and fixed our sprinkler. It was in a difficult location-next to a sidewalk and a driveway. He made a suggestion, fixed the pipe, tested it and we then went to the other location where a timer wasn't working properly. He quickly figured out it was an issue with an old timer that needed t be replaced. He said he could rewire at the box and have the problem station work in tandem with another one. $9 in parts and 1 1/2 hours later I had two working sprinklers. I will definitely use him again.

Todd rebuilt a leaking sprinkler system control valve. He was familiar enough with the valve, even though it is an infrequently used model, to know that it could be rebuilt rather then replaced, which saved digging.
I called him about the job on Tuesday, May 29 and he was able to schedule me for Thursday, May 31. He told me that it would about noon and agreed to call me at work before he came so that I could come home from work to meet him rather then taking the day off. 
His estimate was $155 and that is what he charged even though he discovered and replaced a broken sprinkler head that I was unaware of.
