Happy House Cleaning was formed in 2000 by Mike and Charmon Henderson. We had a desire to provide a high quality cleaning service to the Salt Lake Valley. To do this, standards were set high from the beginning. We are very meticulous about who we hire, all of our employees pass both a state and federal background check. Then we run a credit check and a drug screening. We only let people into your home that we would have in ours. Nine Employees. No subs. Cost is determined by the job. No service charge. May contact through e-mail. We accept all major credit cards.

"[Member Name Removed], I am very sorry about the misunderstanding of your service charges. Our minimum service charge is $137.50, estimated to be around 2.5 hours of cleaning. We have a minimum charge to be able to cover expenses and wages. We do a set price on maintenance cleanings so that you would be able to budget. I wouldn't want to charge you a higher price if I sent a slower and less efficient cleaner than a cleaner which is more seasoned. Sincerely, Mike"

"Hi [Member Name Removed], Thank you for leaving your review. I am happy our crew did a bang up job with the cleaning. Yes your apartment is small however you have so many small items that had to be moved to clean under and then wiped down and replaced. Our training supervisor was one or the crew and said you told her to stay as long as needed to do the job well which was 6 hours, The girls heard take all the time you need to do the job and didn't hear anything about a budget. I am really sorry the two messages were misunderstood. In the end we gave you a 14% discount and thought you were happy with the $194.00 total charge. Again thank you for your business I'm sorry we couldn't have done more for you."

I am however, confused about the rest of your review. You claim that we over charged you for the cleaning. You know that are rates are $45.00 per labor hour. The two cleaners worked from 12:21 - 4:26 a total of 8+ hours. The charge for this is $360.00. After the cleaning was done you requested that we tip the cleaners $25.00 each making the total charge $410.00. While we have had a significant decrease in business because of Covid 19, we would never resort to "thievery" as you suggested. One of the core values of our business is: Make our customers lives better, and build strong employee skills.
