Awesome, they were on time, on budget, and the gentlemen whom did the work were amazing and a pleasure to be around. My wife and I are building a house, and i will ask for the same crew to come paint the inside when the time comes!

Vaughn Paul and his crew set the standard in painting. Vaughn came to my house for an in person bid. It took several months for his crew to come do the work and I can see why, great painters are in demand! Marty, Doug and Brent showed up on time everyday and communicated the job to be done prior to starting. If they ever had questions they would ask, which I appreciate. They would cover sensitive areas prior to painting with drop clothes or would tape the area off. They even moved furniture! They used a quality product and did top notch work! I love the way the painted areas turned out. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat!

This company did a great job. They were cordial to work with, very responsive to my wife's requests and mine. They worked hard, came on time and worked until the job was completed. They moved furniture and other obstructions so they could get to the painting area. I'm really glad I hired Custom Painting Services. Vaughn kept his appointments, gave me a complete bid, and kept me appraised of the start date and kept his promises. The paint crew (Marty (Marv), Doug and Brent did a great job and went out of their way to assure that the job was done right and to our satisfaction. I highly recommend this painting company.

Estimate was honored as written. Work was excellent in both sheet rock and painting. Able to exactly match paint. They were professional, courteous and checked with me as work progressed. I plan on hiring them to additional work.

Vaughn provided an estimate for the job within a couple days of me contacting him. He showed up exactly on time, he was professional and clearly knowledgeable about the work. He provided a detailed estimate, breaking out the cabinets from the doors, casings and mantel. The estimate included the discount for finding them on Angie's List. I decided to get new cabinets instead of painting the old one. The cabinets were a large portion of the estimate and Vaughn was willing to just paint the doors and casings, a small portion of what was included in the estimate. Marty and Doug started the job on time, approximately a week after the estimate had been provided. They were prompt, friendly, professional and did an excellent job with the spray painting of ten interior doors. They clearly have years of painting experience. They took a little extra time to make sure they did the job completely, which I appreciated. They were communicative throughout the process. I have been working with several painting contractors and none of them turned out as excellent of a final product as Custom Painting. I will definitely turn to them for future painting projects.

Crew replaced water damaged drywall in the ceiling of out basement. Textured and painted. Matched the surrounding texture and paint color perfectly. The 2 person crew did a great job and were very friendly.

Custom Paint Service are a wonderful team of painters that did a great job painting the interior of our home. We had such a great experience with this painting company. Starting with a very prompt bid from Vaughan and ending with a very professional paint job. Marty, Doug and Brent were professional and fun to have around.. They worked very hard and cleaned up each night after they were done painting. They took an old mirror down for us and glued a new one back up and it looks great. They also helped my husband move some very heavy furniture. We would definitely use them again.

First of all, they are wonderful group of guys, fun and enjoyable to have in the house. Very prompt and professional: they showed up when they said they would and finished the same way. They got the job done in the time they said they would, at the cost they said it would be at a high level of quality with great clean up. I'm sure cheaper paint deals can be found but for the quality and service you cannot go wrong with Von and his crew!

Custom paint gave me a bid within a few days of my call.  They answered all my questions regarding paint and application.  The only difficulty was getting things scheduled due to weather conditions and the companies prior committments.  Exterior painting is dependent on the right conditions.  Once we were in the schedule and the weather cooperated, Custom Painting came when they said and stayed with the work until the job was completed.   The painters were both friendly and professional.  They consulted us whenever there was a decision to be made or a question of preference was needed.  When they left, everything was cleaned up and the work looked great.  Custom Paint also had a better price than the other bid I received.

This crew was wonderful to have working in our home.  They are professional, friendly, skilled, neat, pay great attention to detail...I really can't say enough nice things about them.  Our finished basement metal door was completely faded and the trim peeling badly.  When Vaughn quoted the job, he recommended painting it a lighter color to match our stucco. Now the door and trim look like new and the lighter color is so much better than the previous dark brown.  I love it!  Our once beautiful wooden front door was also very faded and peeling and I was concerned that they wouldn't be able to get the color to match the inside of the door.  Once again, the door now looks almost new.  You can barely tell a color difference and they applied three coats of protectant to help against future damage from the weather.  The inside painting is perfect, not a flaw anywhere (and I'm pretty picky).  I highly recommend Custom Painting Service and will definitely call them for all our future painting needs.

Poor communication & finish work. They sent an employee who was very nice & eager to please. I gave specific instructions that I wanted the stair rises & skirt to be painted white & have a professional finished look. While the overall paint job looks great - he did not do any finish work! I was disappointed when no calk was applied between cracks, and in corners some the paint is peeling up and it looks terrible. 
I shared pictures with the business owner & he offered to have another painter come over to complete the job. Because I felt the original job was not completed, I asked if he could meet me half way on the hourly rate, and to my recollection he agreed (I could be wrong). But after several weeks, he finally replied to my Angles List messages saying he would not discount the hourly rate to complete the job. I have decided to complete the work myself.
While there may have been a miscommunication, I'm frustrated. I paid a professional painter specifically to make the job look complete. I am disappointed there was no compromise to help make sure I was happy. Overall, if you use Custom Painting Svc, I would suggest being extremely specific in the work you want done, and put it into writing. Include the owner with those expectations, you'll likely be fine. This was the finest experience we have ever had with hiring painters. The foreman was here ahead of the time scheduled and the others were here right on time. They were all very professional and clean up was spotless. The team took limited breaks and lunch during the day. We will be very happy to have them back in our home for our next painting project.
