It went awesome. They are honest and very thorough.

These contractors were very punctual and extremely professional. We have hardwood flooring and they went to extra effort to protect the floor, we have a crazy Labrador and they were very careful not to let her out. There estimate wasn't based on a time frame and when working they were careful and did not hurry there work. I have a unique situation in that I have a large upstairs west facing master bedroom, that was an addition my wife and I added 10 years ago. Getting adequate cooling has always been a problem and there has never been enough room to put an additional AC-Heating unit except for a mini-split. This was always a option but the additional expense and the noise in the bedroom was a deterrent. After going with there recommendation of equipment and there extensive work on the ducting (which no other contractor suggested), I could not be happier with the results. Even though the work they did was extensive and took four days, you would never know they were here at the end of the day. Professional, punctual, friendly, clean and very competitive cost wise. Much more so than the other three companies I had give bids.

First of all they answered the phone. That's key to me. I spoke to Steve he asked basic questions and then said he would be here in 45 minutes to an hour. 45 minutes later he was at work on my unit. An hour later the unit was up and running.

The owner, Don, and his sons Neil and Caleb, did a great job and were very responsive to any concerns that we had. in addition to replacing a couple of old, energy inefficient furnaces with new 95% efficient furnaces, we also wanted to consolidate all of the mechanical equipment to one compact area so we could finish the room with a more efficient design. American heating helped us with both needs.

After having had a number of bids for the work and not being happy with or having a good feeling about any of the contractors I met with Don. He actually took the time to listen, and then spent more time thinking about and developing a design that met my needs and was elegant in it's simplicity. Also, the quality of the work that was performed exceeded my expectations in every conceivable way. The price was very reasonable and a much greater value than any other contractor I had worked with. His sons who work with him are very considerate. The job has stretched out for months at my request so that I have enough time to do everything right and American Heating and Don were very very accommodating. You would be wise to contact Don at American Heating for every single one of your HVAC needs. If it sounds like I am over enthusiastic it is because I am! It is getting more and more difficult to find this kind of company, the kind that cares, pays attention, and does it right the first time. It is a relief and a thrill anytime I finally find such a company and this is one of them.
