I have engaged dozens of contractors over the years and I have to say that Jess is among the best I have ever encountered. He was responsive, punctual, professional, competitively priced, thorough, friendly and true to his word. I'm not sure what more you could ask for in a contractor. There were a couple minor issues to be corrected at the end of the job, and unlike almost every other contractor I have worked with, he did so promptly and eagerly. I was very impressed with him and his crew of 2. I would definitely hire him again and I highly recommend him.

After contacting several fencing companies and getting five different estimates, we kept coming back to Jess and All Ways Fencing. His price was higher than the other companies but worth it. Jess was at our house every day alongside his crew working to get our fence and gates done, and when things didn't go as planned he kept us updated. They removed an old wooden fence that was in our yard around a hot tub and all of the old, crappy chain link that had been on the perimeter previously. The crew was very friendly, courteous, and professional and did a fantastic job with our vinyl fence, and fixed a sprinkler line that was accidentally cut during the initial post-hole digging. We are thrilled with the way it looks and to be able to let our dog out in the yard that is completely fenced in. I would definitely hire Jess again and recommend All Ways Fencing to anyone in the market for a fence.

Very good. The side of my house had a slight slope going down, and they did an excellent job of putting the posts in the ground to account for this slope. It looks very nice.

Came when he said he would, had a very reasonable estimate within 48 hours for a section of vinyl fence and repair an existing wooden gate. Set a time for the work to be completed. Highly dependable with excellent workmanship, exactly to my specifications including an escape hatch for my cats! :-) Thanks for restoring my faith in entrepreneurial small business owners. The fence and 2 gates are beautiful and very sturdy. The quality of the wood is excellent. The crew and Jess, their boss, were very professional and helpful. After the work had begun, they made suggestions that resulted in improvements I like very much and reduced the cost of the project. Jess, communicated with me at every step. The crew arrived on time and the project was completed on time. I recommend Jess and All Ways Fencing.

Jess was on time for the quote and the project was finished before the promised date. The crew worked on Memorial Day to finish the project. The materials are top quality...the only downside to this is all my other fencing looks terrible compared to the quality of this new fencing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend All Ways for your fencing needs.

They did a great job.  Jess Ivie and his crew did quality work.  They went the extra mile by shoring up a neighbor's raised flower beds which had been sloughing dirt up against the old wooden fence and causing it to bow.  As I was also having cement work done, Jess was conscientious in coordinating his work with that of my cement contractor.

We hired All Ways Fencing to remedy our eye sore fence - a mix of chain link, dilapidated wood and vinyl. We wanted to replace the chain link and wood to match the existing vinyl and install an additional gate.  The majority of the fence line is 6' privacy, but there are two large sections where we wanted 4' alternating picket.  I want to make a special note here that I was very particular about the size of the pickets and spacing I wanted for these sections.  I'm sure annoyingly so; we sent Jess the exact measurements and asked him to confirm multiple times that the fence would have those measurements.  Jess never seemed put out or annoyed in the least by these requests though and the fence is exactly what I hoped for!

During installation, Jess and his crew went out of their way to accommodate some last minute requests - from our neighbors.  Jess was very nice (and diplomatic) when interacting with the neighbors throughout the process, which of course was greatly appreciated.  

Jess, and his crew, really put in the effort to make sure the fence looked fantastic. One example, they discovered that the existing vinyl fence sloped down to about 5' at one end so they raised the height of the existing fence panels there to provide a seamless transition to the new fence.  It looks amazing.

I would highly recommend All Ways Fencing.  The price was on par with the competition (less than several) and their warranty on labor is considerably longer than most, although I don't anticipate needing to call upon it.  Jess was very pleasant and easy to work with, responsive and communicated well.  The overall experience was great, but most importantly, we absolutely LOVE our fence. Beautiful, high quality, solid installation and exactly what we envisioned.

From start to finish, working with Jess and All Ways Fencing was friendly and professional. Jess responded to my inquiry the same day and offered to come by within a day or so to see the work needed.  He came when he said he would and with his expertise, we quickly came up with a fencing plan to meet my needs.  He worked with my schedule and actually finished the job faster then he initially projected.  When the job was done, I had a new, sturdy and professionally built fence!  Im completely satisfied with the work, price and overall experience.  

Jess Ivie responded very promptly to my request for a quote on replacing some cedar fencing by returning my call and arranging to come and look at the site within a day. The fence to be replaced was on a difficult sloping embankment, and I asked to have a gate installed as well. The quote was very reasonable given the scope of the work. As soon as weather permitted, the work was begun, and it was completed very quickly too. I am more than happy with the result, which is far tidier and nicer to look at than the previous fence. An excellent job.

Jess was great to work with, he quickly adjusted my bid based on some last minute decisions to not do certain things. He was very informative and answered every question/concern that I had. Even though it was cold and there was still snow on our ground, him and his team did an amazing job getting my old fence removed and the new one installed in just 2 days! Half of the fence is uphill and had some overgrown plants, etc. Jess and his team did a great job sloping the fence up evenly so it looks really nice and you can tell it is solid craftsmanship! They also made sure to haul away the mess and clean up afterwards...Thanks Jess!

Jess Ivie was outstanding to work with. He was a bit higher than other quotes but he was the only one that really talked about the quality of materials and workmanship. After calling around I decided to go with All Ways Fencing because there was a difference between the other 3 contractors. I would highly recommend Jess to anyone wanting a top quality fence built at a reasonable price. 

Jess and his crew were prompt, and genuinely considerate of us and our needs.  The fence was installed quickly, expertly, and without any excuses.  Jess took the time to explain all of the options that we had, and even relocated the sprinkler heads so that they were not outside the fence.  The fence line across the back yard is very straight and looks great even though  the yard itself gently slopes on each edge.  The neighbors were even impressed.  Jess stands behind his work and made sure everything is right for us.

Jess and his crew were incredibly professional and did a fantastic job.  Called for an estimate and Jess was out quickly to take measurements and I had an estimate via email within 48 hours.  He took me through the process, showing me what kind of pickets he would be using so I knew they were high quality.  Contacted me plenty of time ahead to let me know when he would get started and was there on time, huge plus!  Finished the entire job in 2 days, gate installs, setting concrete posts included and it looks amazing!  He kept telling me he uses sturdy high quality wood and once I saw it I wouldn't even need to stain it and he was right, looks great, very sturdy and has a 6 year warranty included!  I would highly recommend these guys for any job.  I've used plenty of contractors over the years and this was hands down one of the best and most easy going experiences, A+.

Mr. Ivie arrived a Thursday morning with two assistants with their equipment and materials for the fence. The work took two days, the first consisted of tearing down the old wooden fence and planting the posts. Byt he second day, they removed the old wooden fence and installed the gate.
  I was impressed how quickly they were able to plant the supporting post. the cement they used cured quickly and by that afternoon the frame and the cedar slates were being erected along the fense. By that evening the fense was erected; the gate had to wait till the next morning. The gate was constricted around a metal supporting frame giving it added strength. I liked this feature in their construction. This made the gate extra strong andsupported the frame. When all was done the fense looked great and we were very satisfied with their workmanship.
  Now, the fence still needs to be stained for long term protection. Staining was something the this company does, but, that is something that I am will to take care of myself. The important thing was that they erected a cedar fence with gate in two days, they worked quickly and quite professionaly. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who may want to have a fense built on their property.

Jess and his crew were amazing.  He cares deeply about his work, was punctual, hard-working and did a great job with the design and building of our fence.  We love it.  
Jess worked closely with me and made significant adjustments to the project as we went along.  We added a gate, for instance, which presented no problem to the plan and added tremendous value to the project.  Jess was easy to work with and allowed me to be integrally involved with the planning and building.  
 If you want a HIGH QUALITY team and a high quality product, Jess is the guy to call.

I followed his advice and I actually did run into a problem in the middle of the job, but I called him and he explained how to deal with it to get to the next step. In the end I was able to complete the job myself, but it did prove to be challenging as the rails were locked into place and very difficult to slide them out of the fence posts.  Putting it back together was also difficult because I had to force long rails in between fixed posts with shorter length in between, while forcing the vertical slats into place at the same time.   It took some brute force, 2 sets of hands and some cussing to get it back together.    I appreciate that Jess was honest with me and didn't take advantage of the situation to earn $350 for an easy job for him, but in the end it took me at least 4 hours total and I would pay the $350 in the future to avoid the aggravation of it all.  His willingness to also guide me through the job for myself showed great customer focus and professionalism and when I need fence work in the future, I know who to call!   

After interviews with 3 different vendors, I chose All-Ways Fencing.  Although he clearly was in the
middle of a hectic season and my job was a minor one, Jess Ivie took time to look carefully at my project,
to listen to my questions, and offer thoughtful suggestions for handling some challenges of the job.
All-Ways was able to complete the job within a few weeks (much sooner than expected) when a few days
cleared in his schedule unexpectedly.
The fence is well constructed and looks very nice. 
Finally, I was especially pleased with Jess?s response when a problem developed.  Jess came promptly
and reworked the position of the latch on the gate next to my driveway.  Hopefully, the issue is now
resolved.

These guys did a fantastic job in a short amount of time and under circumstances of lousy weather, all with good humor and on-the-spot good problem solving.    The whole team worked together very efficiently and was experienced; however, my confidence was definitely dependent in having Jess Ivie on the scene when we ran into unforeseen issues.   A couple of things came up that required discussion and improvising.  Jess is very patient and calm no matter arises, and he makes sound decisions quickly.  He is also very accommodating.  There was a fence board that stuck out in terms of different color tone, and he amiably replaced it on request.  He also brought us some extra 2x4s so my husband could finish our lattice top-trim which we had opted to do ourselves to save money. 

The cedar materials they supplied from Forest Products were definitely superior wood quality and appearance compared to what you can get from the Big Box suppliers or even other local lumber yards.   I especially liked that all the fasteners were stainless steel screws, even in the fence boards?no nails to rust or come loose.  

The crew went the extra mile in removing and hauling off a huge amount of Virginia Creeper vine that covered one of the fence sections they rebuilt.  They were also prepared to put up a temporary fence to keep our 3 dogs safe and enclosed in the event there was any open fence area at the end of a work day.   This wasn?t necessary, however, since they worked so fast and efficiently that one section was totally completed the first day, and the second section the second day.   The first day, they worked until after 6 pm in pouring rain to complete the work to close up the fence.  The second day was no better weather, and again, the last few hours were in pouring rain.   They just put on their rain slickers and kept going, but it was definitely difficult weather circumstances.  They were always courteous, pleasant, smiling in their dealings with us, and exhibited good comraderie toward each other in their team.

Jess was a great person to work with, and we will definitely be using All Ways again as we continue to replace other sections of fence over time.   Price was not cheap, and slightly higher but close to other bids I took, and I definitely felt choosing All Ways was worth it for the quality of wood, the stainless steel fasteners and the good workmanship.

Jess and his crew did a great job! We are very happy with the quality and look of the new fence and gate. He was quick to return our call when asking for a quote, and was even able to come and complete the work much faster than expected.
